Yes I am.... Actually A friend and I spoke about this event last week when he got the info hot off the press, but was unsure on the dates.. Hopefully we get 4-5 NY guys seriously interested in this trip..

For the guys that can't make it, don't worry... Something big is coming to Etown in October, I'll get the exact dates & list of cars in a few days..... word is Siguel is talking about bring his Rx7, but some other cars have confirmed already... This info was given to me at Pan Ams, but was reassured yesterday after speaking to one of the organisers in PR... I guess we'll have to wait and see

 

Keep us posted! Damn, what I would give to go see the races on The Island.

I am looking forward on going myself ,I ammaking arrangment now . Thinking of leaving on Friday the 28th on the 1st wil let you guys if its a defenite so I can meet you guys PR is my home town and know of alot of places to go too after the races .

 

How does the "USA .vs PR" ...how does that exactly work again?

Whats not to understand??? Cars from the US gets put in a few containers then shipped across to PR... They compete against the PR cars to see who comes out on top.... PR is out for revenge because they got their asses handed to them at Atco, but I have a feeling they might get a second dose of *** beating from our guys

from the looks of it, I think San Juan would be the best place to say seeing that its not to far from Carolina?? Race track by day and ***** magnet by night?? If all the NY guys communicate on this, then we could all book the flights together to make it more exciting.. 4-5 guys fly out of JFK, we rent one car & we all stay in the same Hotel.. sounds like a plan??

Hahaha you said a mouth full and is right , that would be the best choice san juan. I am in florida so it's a straight flight to san juan , I usually fly to aguadilla when I go to PR it real close to my home town and there are a few use car dealers with fairly new car that I reant for $20. a day but in your case 4 or 5 of you guys can split it it not to bad you can get a Dodge Nitro around $70. a day at the airport thats what I got from Hertz when I went in Junuary and flew to san juan . Be ready to enjoy and have fun like never before !

 

Expedia has AA flights for under $300 leaving from JFK to SanJuan on the 28th- 2nd... I would like to pay for my ticket by next week, before fuel prices increase because of this latest storm... Who else is going from NY/NJ?

 

I hope they film this and sell DVD's for those of us that can't make it....

sounds good , ive allready separated at work ,old lady aprooved and my boys back home are getting ready for this one , its is suposed to be the biggest race event in many years so everyone is very exited ,

 

already paided for my ticket so im going 2,im a lucky bastard dont have 2 pay for a car or hotel because i own a house,car on the west side of the island but is a 2-3 hours drive from the track.

 

i work for delta airlines so flight wise i am good i have an apt in luquillo but its rented so hotel for my *** , cause i aint staying at my parents house , hell no no way they still have a curfue

 

Interesting, I'm far away from you guys..Thinkin about hopping on a plane. I have a beach front spot I use in Isla Verde off Marginal Villamar. Fits roughly 4.

no **** yo, thats why i enlisted in the service when i was 15 not to mention i had court orders my parents r a trip typical boricua family , but yeah i grew up in my godfathers garage ,BERTO VIVO the owner of BAM ,BAM , and VIVO AUTOPARTS out of BAYAMON lots of good memories out of the shop mot to mention lots of great mecanics , i dont know what happened to me though if i would have stayed in the island i either be dead or a great mecanic who knows lol ...
