Yeah, he's a good guy and yes I know the PR's are the most consistant as they should be. They have been running rotaries longer than everyone else. There's just a handful of guys running rotaries in the states. Abel does have the record and knows how he got it too so I think he can do it again. I agree that he isn't the most consistant, but going ***** to the walls and pushing the limits of the engine and tune your not going too. I bet if he de tuned his motor he could run consistant high 6's low 7's too. But everytime I see him run he's ***** to the walls and trying new combo's. 'With all the new rotary technology, someone is going to break the record real soon but call it a fluke or whatever, you gotta admit that Abels record is pretty awesome. C'mon it has stood for 4 years. If you can't at least respect that then you have no love for the rotary.
, the 20b was not allowed in the modified class
what was left , show those dam yanks what the 13b could do in a 3/4 chassis so the 20b was left behind now that there are no sanctioning bodies worth mentioning the 20bs are making a comeback
. now how abel said most people didnt know about the center plate rocky is using , that in this side of the world would be considered illegal in nhra standards, because its not a factory production part, so until some one breaks the record with oe parts abels record will in fact still be in the books no doubt its in the books and its great and very impresive
but my point is, the pro rwd class was beeing out gunned and taken over by the street glow team

C'mon....... waiting........
I will be leaving on Friday morning and coming back on Tuesday.... The plan is to catch the races on the weekend, then see some of the island on Monday all day and the early part of Tuesday... I can't fly all the way to PR and not visit the beach
Save the best for last

Where the heck is everyone???
On Tuesday I'm setting up a tour of Pica's shop and Mr Gaby chassis was kind enough to invite us to his shop and maybe another one (siguel??) I also mentioned the word "strip club" and he somehow agreed, then followed with laughter
Are we going to make this happen or am I going to PR alone???
BTW, Best Western @ SanJuan's Airport is the official Hotel for the event, all of the racers are staying there... Where are you guys staying?? maybe we can get a group rate if we get multiple rooms
Put your name down is your are 100% sure your are going

Just stay away from the strip club called "lips". I went there and it was a waste.
The words from a top dragracer was:
" All of the racers will be staying at this hotel and you best believe that there will be nightly excursions to all of the area's strip clubs!!! Or hell, the strip club might just come to the hotel!!!"

not sure if the hard target "street" corolla is going to make it... Car crashed here in Cayman 2 weeks ago. They do how ever have another chassis and are trying to get it ready in time though.
BTW: where are you guys staying at which part of the island are you guys flying into? I'm looking at expedia and it's giving my like 4 different airports to fly to

You want to fly into San Juan's international airport the code is SJU. The track is about a 15 minute car drive from the airport (with no traffic that is.) Not very complicated. I don't know which of the Best Western's in San Juan is the hotel the racers are supposed to be staying at (there are 2 ofd them) but it is probably within 1/2 from the track which is in Carolina, PR.
We are flying into San Juan airport.. The hotel is Best Western Airport Hotel & Casino
You have to call the Hotel & tell them you're there for Import Revolution and you will stay for $100 per night, thats $60 off per night
HardTarget got another brown 1.8, looks like it might make it... http://grs-motorsports.com/portal/vi...er=asc&start=0
out with the old

in with the new

glad to see the car getting put back together. It was painful to watch that car being pushed back into the container.
Thanks for all the info Guys . Gonna party like a rock star up there
