Well today the new generation racing team brought the mazda six to the dyno to work the setup. Numbers speak for themselves!. 1781 whp and a whopping 1531 foot pound of torque at 45 psi. What's the engine configuration? Is it a true Mazda 26b, or is it a custom built unit? Sounds very much like a 13b, like the crank has 180* separation and not 90* like a regular Mazda 26b.

 

I heard that is 180* but i dont know for sure.It does sounds like a really pissed off 13b!

 

Is this the highest hp any rotary has made?
