It doesn't even sound like it makes 800+ on the youtube video, compared to some cars we've dynoed making those types of hp, but congrats to them w/ making it with vp.

Hi guys here is a engine shot. I think this was one of the 850hpo runs. The car has one 874 run, six 840-860 runs. This is all done on 25%vpimportand 75 q16.

You cant go by sound as you have no information about the rear diff ratio. And how high we were reving the car. Dont forget that this is a t4 small rear wheel s400 turbo. If I cut the run off at hp peak then it would definately sound right. But this car made full power by 8000 rpm. And then tapered in the 9500 mark. I was just seeing what this turbo did with the fuel supply at high rpms. Also we were seeing how the stock intake manifold and Tb would flow. I

He did he's pulls in 4rth gear

Here is mine from a engine bay view like his
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyA1Lp77Qgo
I did mine on 3rd gear and Have a similar setup. Except the fuel pump was a POS
and could not let me run more boost pass 26PSI with AFR's in the mid 10's to keep the engine from blowing up.......I did upward mid 500's

4x1600cc
S475 1.15 T6 vs S480 1.10 T4
13B-REW HB VS 13BT HB

I may soon switch to a 4bar MicroTech after I finish doing my overkill fuel/ignition setup and see what I can do at 40+ PSI

Very inspiring Marko
Just when you think we're getting left behind by evo/hondas etc
you prove 13B can still do it! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Mph is the only dyno that dictates hp.

But unfortunatley there is snow on the ground and the track is closed untill march.

The car will run with this set up. This engine has lasted 60 000kms. We will see how much of it will make it to the pavement?

The engine is a half bridge originaly taught to me by Jon Blanch of RX engineering and Microtech EFI. Jon has helped me along with my tuning and to give me the confidence in turning up the boost. LOL Everything else was time on the dyno.
You need the practice to build confidence.

So how much power does it take to do 150mph in a 2700lb street rx7?

The only reason why we run like **** is cause they have better aftermarket tranmission support then we do for there OEm transmissions....

Who's we?

So it's the transmission at fault then?
I thought it was some of them horses getting left behind on the dyno!

Depends on ratio and tire size. But in general you shoud have a good 700 to make 150. I did 147 with 700 on a 4.1 rear diff.
