launching wit the 2step

thinking of going to the track tonight. i have yet to even attempt to launch it since i got my new 6 puck in. but everyother time i went to the track i got shitty 60' times. so if i go i was thinking of doing it right......what are the chances of breaking the rear diff launching at 6k?

i know how to launch the car, just dont know if the diff will handle it. ive heard lots of bad stories

I dont think that the rear diff will be able to handle 6k launch you will get to much wheel hop. I launch at 4k and still have issues with wheel hop.

I've got the Pettit solid trailiing arms and solid diff bushings... I can launch all day at 4500 rpm on drag radials with no wheel hop whatsoever. You have to stiffen up the suspension and make sure you've got good bushings but you can eliminate wheel hop. Also lowering your tire pressure will help with that.

Sorry about getting off topic. To answer your question, I have never done a 6k launch but I'm interested to know if the diff can take it.

it will probably spin much more with a 6k launch on the 2-step.....your actually using anti-lag in your AEM....so the boost will definately get you spinning INSTANTLY!!....just feather the gas out until it hooks and you should be ok....and +1 on the lower tire pressures....try about 17-20psi....

No point in using the Two-Step. I was able to cut 1.4X 60 foots without using my 2 Step. With the 2-Step, I would just blow the tires away.
