**Supra/Z/RX7 event! Oct20: 1/4 dragstrip**

https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/supra-z-rx7-event-oct19-road-course-oct20-1-4-dragstrip-w-mobile-dyno-car-show-672651/

Supra/Z/RX7 event! Oct19: Road course. Oct20: 1/4 dragstrip w/ mobile dyno & car show.
This should be an interesting event. Anyone interested on some 1/4mile action? Probably we could put a team together to represent the rx-7 community.

Crispeed,

Thanks a ton for posting this up. I would love to be able to give the Supra guys a suprise on the dragstrip. I have a lot of friends with Supras that are 9-10 sec cars and would love to show them what some of the rotaries can do. Should be a lot of high quality cars at the event. Those with friends who have impressive import drag cars are welcome at the event also.

Hope some of you guys can make it out to the event.

I'd like to make it down, but its a hell of a haul for me. We'll see how the rest of the season goes.

cause they have one bad *** supra, of course I was looking at the prize money and it doesn't look like it would be enough for them to go all the way to georga for.

Just reminding all of those who are interested in coming to the event we are only a week away. Would love to see as many fast rotaries there as possible.

I don't think Andy will be taking the supra's there. They should be at citrus nationals @ moroso in November though.Plus it's closer to home . I'm flying up to see the event. It should be bad ***.

Nice! I've been wanting to see thier supra, from what I hear it's sick! Everytime I talk to him he usually brings up that he will be in some event with it so it definately gets used, witch is cool!

I went to the drag part and had a blast. I just watched but wish I would have brought the Drag radials and made a few passes. FAstest was 9.8 (drag supra) next was Z1 300zx 10.2ish with issues. After that it droped quick into 11's-12's 13's to 14's. There were some really nice supras there. Saw really nice blue supra make 610 on the dyno then not able to run quicker than 12.4!!! Just goes to show how much driving plays a part! I think some cared more about how big there burn out was then there et!

An FD ran high 12s, my GSL-SE S4 TII swap ran a 13.39 at 105mph, and a bone stock FC ran high 16s.

BTW that was my FD, and I'm pretty sure I was the only one who ran. I ran a 12.6xx at 115.xx earlier in the day, which is my best ever. I did run a 12.9 though that afternoon. I've probably only drove my car maybe 10 times at the strip so I'm not the best drag racer, nor do I care to be.

Sorry about that SPIcnmGT, I couldn't remeber your exact time. Just knew it was above a 12.50. Great to see an FD representing.
