Exclamation Goopy Scatter shield FD

Anyone have one or have a PIC?

Untill my next tranny plans become solid I need one to run. the $350 for the goopy one has me puzzled ad im not sure if its just a 4" peice of plate OR one like this
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/scattershield-install-pictures-tii-673402/

the TRS one is no longet avialable, his fabricator retired so pooooof...

But i'm considering buying the goopy one if its a nice piece, If not it will be time to refill the tanks and fire up the rose bud. I have a spare bellhousing so making one dosent seem that daunting of a task... and the fab your own price cant really be beat

Bacon, did you have any issues fitting the scattershield? I just installed one on an FD and had to trim a good bit of it to fit around the driver side engine mount. Also have to trim on of the cast in tabs on the bellhousing.

bringing this back... so, if you have your rotating assembly balanced and plan to rev to 10500rpm for your normally street driven but sometimes raced car, is this a need or a good to have?

Good to have FOR SURE, not only if you plan on reving above about 10Krpms, but if you plan on launching the car hard. Scattershield is on my want and someday list

Thread's been dead for a while.

That being said, I talked with goopy a month ago and was told "they will be in stock real soon".

I also found out that the price is now $425 up from the $350 it was when Bacon made this thread in 2012.
