I gave dirtydogperformance all my expected hp/torque figures. He recommended a 5500-6000 converter. Does that sound right to you guys?

He also said with the low torque (500rwtq), taking a few seconds to come up on the converter will mostly be something we'll have to live with. The TH400 Supra cars use nitrous just to get it up on the converter quick. This might be something that we'll have to do.

Exactly, those cars are just too consistant and ET very well. None of that 10.04 @ 150mph business

Oh by the way the driver has alot to do with a good RT , I bet you can't cut a light better than the one of those sorry RT C4 cars !

That was my main point. You can have the most consistant car on the track, but if you're late at the light because you have to wait for your converter to come up.... Goodbye. But if your not racing heads up, then maybe this setup will be just fine for you. I personally just like the challenge of shifting and going thru the gears.

did you read what i posted? i never mentioned reaction time.. i stated that these auto cars have a **** poor launch, because they cant go when the light goes green because they have to go when the car is ready.. the first 1/2 of the track is the most important part of the race ..if you cant leave out of the gate then go home!!(this is very important in competition)
after watching thse videos im pulling out my c4 setup and selling it!
im getting a jerico
