Beveling rotors

I'm looking for a place to get my rotors beveled/scalloped. The only place I can find is JHB Performance. I have spoken to people in the past that have not had the best results with this company. So I am looking else where to be on the safe side...

Anyone know where i can get my rotors beveled and rotating assembly balanced at one reliable location?

I'm pretty sure he doesn't balance..chipsmotorsport does balancing, but you'll have to ship which makes it more costly..but he does super work

CLR does scalloping.

When shipping rotors, I've found USPS Flat Rate to be the best way to go. You can fit two rotors and counter weights in a single large flat rate box. Only costs $15 plus any insurance you want to ship them anywhere in the US.

What's your guys definition of beveled/scalloped? Cause I'v been doing something to the rotors at home that is solving my rotor problems but don't have a name for it.
What part of the rotor are you cutting?
thanks

I believe they are talking about the combustion face. So talking material out of that area to lower the compression ratio.

Nooo. Beveling/scalloping is something that is done on the edge of the rotor to increase port timing without making your ports bigger. Stock rx8 rotors have this done from the factory. And yea. CLR is the way to go. Or stock rx8 rotors if your non turbo

Thanks, that's what I thought but needed to make sure. That is not what I am doing to my rotor for sure.

Correct. Looks like I should give CLR a call. They are also semi-local. I need a reason to check out Miami anyway.

Thanks.

Yo Henry, it looks like you might have those rotors on the wrong side? The slots should sweep back.
