i'm in a very calm and peacefull place. retirement has lifted all the stress and pressure to compete from my shoulders. nothing can bother be in this rx-7 game anymore. but i tell you this, if i decide to take my throne back i wont be walking softly anymore, but i'm gonna be swinging a goddamn tree trunk!
so in closing, Anthony i beg you... give me a reason to dust the car off and schedule a comeback tour.

Anthony, if you are allowing 1/8th mile times converted to 1/4, then please put my car up in the all motor section- 7.83 @88mph= around 12.1-12.2 in the 1/4. 1973 RX2 12a bridgeport- TII trans, Weber- 100 octane gas. Thanks.

tell you what anthony, when your race car runs a time that impresses me for a gutted fd, then mabye i'll pull my 3000lb street car out and gun for you. i had a combo last year that was ready to match or beat your time, but driveline issues prevented that. i was ok with giving you a pass and falling back from racing this year even though my driveline issues are resolved. seriously, i like jokes as much as the next guy, but you know in your heart that your car as it sits now was not ready for what i had if i had time to sort everything out last year.
secondly, your car as it sits DEFINATELY ain't ready for what i might have coming out next month (if i wasn't retired and letting the car collect dust all winter )

Just reading this thread is getting me hiped. I can' wait to take my beast to the track and see what it does....Im know for sure its going to run hard....Hopefully one day i'llmake it on the list with you guys....
