so in closing, Anthony i beg you... give me a reason to dust the car off and schedule a comeback tour.

and you have my permission to quote this in your little sewing circle e-mail list...
Comback? Comback from what, you're not even on the top 20 list.

I would say that is a good reason to dust the car off.

Updated...

Updated yours too.

Our first bump! Speed_NYC and Blitz are off the list. (I still have your info in there, just hidden)
Anthony, if you are allowing 1/8th mile times converted to 1/4, then please put my car up in the all motor section- 7.83 @88mph= around 12.1-12.2 in the 1/4. 1973 RX2 12a bridgeport- TII trans, Weber- 100 octane gas. Thanks.

Here is the email that was sent out last night when the "bump" took place.

"It is with great sadness that I must inform everyone Speed_NYC has been "bumped" off the top 20 list. It was short lived but he did enjoy his time there. We all knew it was only a matter of time before a stock turbo Rx7 would go faster that his times. Please keep him in your thoughts. He will surely be missed.

tell you what anthony, when your race car runs a time that impresses me for a gutted fd, then mabye i'll pull my 3000lb street car out and gun for you. i had a combo last year that was ready to match or beat your time, but driveline issues prevented that. i was ok with giving you a pass and falling back from racing this year even though my driveline issues are resolved. seriously, i like jokes as much as the next guy, but you know in your heart that your car as it sits now was not ready for what i had if i had time to sort everything out last year.

secondly, your car as it sits DEFINATELY ain't ready for what i might have coming out next month (if i wasn't retired and letting the car collect dust all winter )

i'm not talking smack, and i'm not calling you out, i just think you should show some respect and appreciation to the guy that gave you the free pass and has sat quiet all winter throughout all your jokes and **** talking. you and me know the truth, and thats all that matters, now act like you have some home training before i have to spank you!

^ Man, you sound like all the Abel haters out there. I coulda, woulda, shoulda.........

When are you guys going to realize the only way you and anyone else out there racing is going to shut anyone up is to get out there and beat there times with proof! Everyone has an 7-8 second car in their garage, but few ever get a timeslip.
