MT ET Street Drag Radials VS ET Street Slicks

Which do you guys prefer? I've heard different things from different people about each tire. Some say ET Street slicks are less as harsh on the drivetrain compared to the MT Drag Radials. I would like any usefull information about the two from people who have used both at the track.

My setup consist of a daily driven FD with a Turbo2 Diff, DSS Axels with a differential brace...

If i had to drive every day i would go with the drag radials, just becouse of the rain or wet street issue. I run et street slicks becouse i like them better for the suspension( 1.522 60' ) and i haven't broke an axle yet and there stock. But i had to drive on wet streets and its bad real bad about like ice. But i only drive it when the weather permits. Unless you get suprised.

drag radials are infamous for breaking stuff. there's not nearly as much sidewall flex as there is in ET streets or slicks.

I'll be using the Drag radial/ET Slicks only for the track. I just use my car daily, I have 17in Toyos for daily use. I guess i'll just have to try these Drag radials out and hope for the best since I already bought them for $250...

I sent back the MT Drag radials and bought the MT ET street 26x11.5-16. After making this post I recieved a few phone calls from some friends tellign me their experiences with the Drag radials. Seems that the Drag radials work alil too well for our applications and hurt the drivetrain...

I'm pretty happy with my ET streets (26x10.5 - 16). My best 60' is a 1.52 and I can get consistent 1.5x through out a night even on an unprepped track. Stock R1 suspension, kaaz, DSS Axles, Toe link and trailing arms.
