True Performance Gains w/ Side Draft

So i've been searching around for a while looking for info on side draft carbs. From what I have found so far it seems like a good upgrade. But what I have found also raises a couple questions.

First, for those of you who have these, what kind of performance gains have you seen? Anything on a 4 port 12a?

also, where would be the best place to find one and what kind of prices would i be looking at for it?

But... those don't look like carbs.

Don't have much other input, sorry.

Has anybody ever tried motorbike carbs on a rotary, like Mikuni or Keihin flatsides?

When do you think your project will be finished Mike?

work on the car will start whenever I aquire all the bits, looking for some inlet rubbers at the moment.

seeing as its nearly winter my aim will be to have it taken off the road, all injection parts fitted + a Carl exhaust system fitted by spring next year I'm hoping I will have it running on the EFI well before that though to give me time to get it sorted.

btw that manifold is made by TWM for a pair of 45DCOE webers, they still make the 13b version so you can either look out for a secondhand one like I got or buy new + a 12a-13b adapter.
