60-1

that turbo can produce 415 rwhp@18 psi,i have run this turbo at 32 psi and had no prolems as long as you have a good intercooler it can be done.

run stock primaries , 1300cc secondaries and a pump and you can squeeze enough injector to make up to 400 rwhp. at 15 psi your car should make about 365 rwhp.

thanks streetfighter,

reason for such low psi is im going non-haltech route for awhile. so im only using a 10psi wastegate/pov. i got the fuel stuff down except im going wiht an aic since im not using a haltech. so at that psi wht cc should i use for my 2 additonal injectors?

thanks

brandon

just go with the 450cc's that should get you to about 12-13 psi

Well, a T04E 60-1 could be a lot of different things. But even the smaller Hi-Fi (which is what Brain Cain and I both have) can make about 425 rwhp at around 15-16 psi. Streetfighters numbers would be accurate if you need a catalytic converter.

If you're going to be running only 10psi then 1200cc is too big an injector for the AIC to control. Go with 450 or 550 cc.

really? i was talking to chris he said it would be okay? i checked on the rx7.com fuel calculator it says 450 or 550cc's can barely support the 320hp.

i just wanted enough to control the turbos max hp so if i ever want to raise the boost i'll have the right injectors.

well, im not as smart as you guy's but im using the rx7.com's fuel calculator. and going to be using stock primaries/secondaries with 2 addtionals controlled by the aic. here is what i found out, the following sizes with the stock primaries/secondaries at 58% duty cycle (normal) and the 2 additonals at 80%.

2 450cc's 287hp
2 550cc's 310hp
2 720cc's 349hp
2 850cc's 379hp
2 1200cc's 460hp
2 1600cc's 552hp

now those numbers are from the calculator shown in flywheel hp at 80% duty cycle along with the stocks at 58%. please help

that fuel calculator on RP's site isnt worth ****. brian was explaining another way to figure how much fuel you'll need just last night, because i brought up the same thing

i'll ask him for you. Also another reason for the high power figures with brians car at said boost is that he runs an air/water IC.

Lightbulb WOW, I'm picking the same turbo for my project!

I just got back into rotaries (buying an 86 TII - yes its an 86 TII) and I'm going to run that exact same setup until I get the $ for the haltech. Except I got hold of a 93 full intake and TB and I'm gonna weld up the primary rail with the 850's into the manifold like srx7.com does. I am thinking of going with the MF2 unit due to its adjustability. Seems like a better unit than the rest for about $350.00 But If not, It'll be the haltech AIC.
You wanna go in together and see if we can get a deal on those turbos and or AIC?
I am also not sure if I'm gonna port a motor, or just see how fast I can take a stock 88 1.3L Japanese Turbo motor (with 93 upper intake, and ported lower of course). We'll see. Drop me an email with your setup so we can get some ideas.
Thanks
Patrick Harris
