SRMotorsports in Quick Class?

Went to IDRC at atco this weekend and noticed there was a Black RX7 in the quick clas with a large SRMotorsports sticker on it. Went to the pits and checked it out and the crew said it ran a 10.50 and they expect nines by next race. Anyone know what this car has done to it and did it travel all the way from California?

Reative Racing debut....

That would be the debut of myself and Demetrios K. SR Motorsports is a sponser of our cars. This was a very good weekend for test and tune. If more time had allotted you'd have seen a 9sec. pass for sure. His best that day was a 10.5 @ 129mph... with a 1.3 60'.....
I thought I was good out of the hole. Demetrios comes out with a vengence.
Next race we will be at will be this coming Sunday at M.I.R.......the IMStar series..(www.imstarracing.com) Should prove interesting......
9's here we come!

On a side note I'll be running in the street class shooting for 10's.

What are the mods?

ErnieT If you know the car what are the mods that are done to it. It looked like it had a whole bunch of MSD's. Does this think still have a stock independent rear. I never heard of a 1.3 60ft with a stock rear.

As far as being competitive in quick class it will be very dificult but it was a nice change to see a RX7 instead of a bunch of 1500lb honda's. I think the best in the class was 9.8 so they weren't doing to bad if it really was there first time out. If you would have saw this car launch you would sware it ran a 9.0 but it really slowed down on the top end for some reason I thought it broke but when I went to the pits it was still running beautifully. What happened ErnieT?

The car has a Kaaz rear with a Jerico H pattern tranny(IDRC legal) with a T series turbo. (secret spec's )
When your referring to it breaking up, the car went rich on top. D took some fuel out and all was well. He has it tuned very, very, conservative. The ignition is as you stated, a full MSD setup.

Hey Ernie T,
How much was the Jerico H pattern and where did you get it from? It has dog gears right?

Ray Lochead is a dealer. Im not sure what Demetrios paid. Somewhere in the ballpark of $4000-5000, I think. Again, Im not sure, so don't quote me.
