Smoking on Deceleration
My TII, after boosting and decelerating, smokes quite heavily.
At first I thought it might be because I was running so rich, but now I have leaned it out and it still smokes the same.
It's a bluish/white smoke and it smells like oil.
I was thinking it could be the seals on my turbo, but when my last motor blew up, the turbo didn't smoke at all?
This just started with my current engine and Haltech install.
Anybody have any ideas what would make it smoke so bad on deceleration?

That likely just the oil control 0-rings. Or the side housings need lapping because the oil rings are causing grooves in them and oil is slipping by at highrpm with throttles closed. The oil 0-rings were my problem and when ever I'd let off the gas at 100mph+ in my '85 12a with 110,000miles I would create a huge oil cloud that would subside at around 85mph. The engine was never driven light from the day I bought it which accerated the rate at which they got worn out. The vacuum is greatest in the chamber when letting off at high rpm and is sustained if you let your engine do the braking. Ratsey, your on the rong furum again. LOL! Mr. Moderator! At least brando isn't here! Thats my favorate part of this furum! PS. Don't tell anyone.
