propane powered 7on e-bay
I found a propane powered 1st gen on e-bay, anyone think the propane idea is a good one?

I gotta agree with Manny, the plastic on the front end look melted, like they don't even fit right anymore. And why in god's name would you go through all that trouble to get 250-275 hp out of the motor? He could've saved a fortune by adding the Camden supercharger from Atkins Rotary and still gotten into that hp range.

my fav thing abt it is the ductape holdin broked stryofoam to "secure" the lpg tanks...it dont get much safer than that....
i wonder if he would charge extra for a bit more ductape....

Yes I know the car looks scary but it has never been on fire. It's just a bad paint job.
The front end looks weird because the previous owner shortened it for unknown reasons (probably just for a different look) and put a different air dam on it.
That styrofoam is just for sound deadening, the tanks are securely attached.

Don't know, I didn't build it. Propane is 110 octane, so it's safer to turn up the boost. Also starts right up (no flooding) and it used to be smog exempt in CA which is one of the main reasons the original owner did the conversion.
