Probably the best setup vs. price would be to get the new richmond 4+1 from somewhere like summit, and then talk to long @ gforce to get the 4" extension, and the the extended input shaft. The tranny that crispeed uses (note, he uses his -- mine still gets to sit, aside from when I make noises and pretend to shift for customers) is the older pro-shifted richmond 4+1. This design uses dog rings & sliders, and hates downshifting. The standard 4+1 that you can still purchase today has synchros (downshiftable!) and still uses the classic richmond case -- meaning you can take advantage of all the external gforce parts that long is fabricating. I saw the links to gforce above, so give them a call. I believe they might be able to make their trannys downshiftable, too -- but it would be cheaper to get the standard 4+1. You could still install the long verti-gate on the new 4+1, and have the sequential action with downshiftability. If you are drag racing only, then find a used pro shifted 4+1 with a vertigate. Follow all of that? Personally, I would never limit such an exciting set-up to a clutchless, vertical gate shifted setup. My FC would be a blast with a H-pattern downshiftable transmission, but I am after low ET's -- and I often regret it! It's really late... I'll be glad to disect the above when I am more coherent if needed!

I sense a problem here with the Richmond transmissions. One more reason why so few people have a single-turbo 20B in their street car.
... or was that 1200HP and 900FT-LB of torque? Chris? I never worried which way the rating went since I knew I was never going to exceed it! I know I would be confident to put a 3-rotor behind one if I could get the H-Pattern shifter for it.
Mines came out from behind a 1400hp nitrous breathing big block!
The guy who owned it before me said it was in there for like 4yrs with very good reliablity. The guy switched over to a Lenco because his new set-up at the time was supposed to be in the 2500hp range requiring the use of something bettter suited to take advantage of that power.
As for the street version of the Richmond 5 and 6 speed I don't have a clue as to the power limit. The only main difference between the race and street version would be the straight cut gears and dog ring face tooth slider design vs. standard angle cut gears and brass sycncro setup.
In my opinion there are only three transmission available for a street driven 20B. One would be the Supra twin turbo 6-speed tranny made by Getrag of Germany. The only downfall to using this tranny would be the 1st gear. The 1st gear came with a very low ratio in the 3.60's area I believe making the use of that gear in a Rx-7 with a 4.11 diff ratio useless. You would probably go 20 ft and have to shift out of 1st gear!
The other two trannies would be the Richmond 6-speed street version where you get to decide what ratios you want and parts are easily available when it come time for repair.
The last would be the 6-speed T-56 that's used in the Viper made by Borg Warner.
