It would seem 1oz per gallon should take care of it.
A little more for road racing, or top end type driving.
I think 1 oz / gallon will do for drag racing, as heat
is not as much of a factor. A tuner I talked to concurred.

Yes it is a 128:1 ratio for normal driving.

128:1 is too rich for normal, street driving. Kick it down to about 3/4oz per gallon of fuel.

According to "Rotary Engine" by Kenichi Yamamoto (pretty old, but VERY technical)...

You need around 1:150 for wide open throttle, and around 1:200 under cruising conditions. For highway speed cruise, the OMP on the test engine was running as high as a 1:250 ratio with good results. This was for a NON turbo engine.... just FYI.

BDC's suggestion of 3/4 ounces in 1 gallon of gas works out to approximately 1:170 (assuming I didn't make a math error haha). This would seem to be a good compromise for a street driven car which isn't floored at WOT all the time.

Personally, just in case you're interested.... I run the regular OMP on my FD plus I also run 1:256 premix as extra insurance.

if you read it closely he is using 1:256 in supplementary to his regular OMP operations as a precaution if his ~10 old OMP failsor is being restricted.
