max hp with this setup?

i am curious what kind of power levels i will be making when i finish my car, give an estimation if you think you have a good guess.....

-13B with TII housings and rotors
-ceramic coated internals
-Large streetport
-twin T04E turbos
-front mount intercooler
-racing beat exhaust or a better one for turbo (suggestions?)
-MSD distributerless ignition system w/capacitive discharge

yea to4e's are some pretty hefty turbos but im going to be using the t2 low compression rotors and have ceramic coatings on the rotors and housings. i know this way it will take alot more abuse but not sure how much abuse. maybe someone with more experience can enlighten us

Tuning is the key! If you plan on running "High Boost", better look for some octane and/or water injection, apex seals can't stand pinging!

That's like asking "how long is a piece of string."

so revhed, i could have a million horsepower if want to? im not asking for a human dyno, i was just curious. all im asking is for someone who has some experience to make a rough guess of how high i might get to if i do some good tuning. its more like i layed a piece of string on the ground in front of you and asked for you to estimate how long it was.

Nice analogy.

But seriously, there's so many variables it's pointless to guess at such a figure. Let's just say that 400hp is pretty attainable while still maintaining some sort of reliability. BTW, what's this fascination with ceramic coating the internals anyway?

lol well supposedly 22 % of the energy in fuel in a rotary goes to hp and 22% goes to coolant. now if you had a heat resistant coating on the housing and rotor faces that just kept in half of the heat energy that is lost to coolant you would get a 50% power increase and if it held in more heat you would get even more (obviously :P)!. this is just the math of course, in real life i have only found that most of the companies who offer these coatings showed increases more in the 10-20hp range . however, i am still planning on getting the coating because they can withstand high temps and pressures. that way i will be able to run higher boost without my engine blowing and ill get the power i wanted anyway

edit: ive seen pictures of a 13B twin turbo periphial port engine running over 800hp maybe i can get the PP housings and keep the normal streetports as well and have teh PPs kick in at high rpms so maybe i can get some numbers in that area....i will be unbeatable in my town ill be going crazy on vettes, camaros, porsches, and ricers too for fun

Well its hard for people to say because most people(none I remember or have known of) run twin t04e's. Your setup seems to be alot harder than it needs to be. What are your goals?

He'll run a lot faster than low 12s with that setup if he gets it tuned in right and cranks that boost up.

Here's some info on water injection for you. It's in the 3rd gen section but the same principal applies to both.

i read some stuff on water injection its a pretty cool idea. i read about an fb with a 13B with one to4e running 32psi with a large streeport (i think), he dynoed at 560hp. i am not sure how much more boost that engine can take but i will get everthing possible done to it to make it more durable and also i think i will have PP housings that kick in at high rpms. with that setup and some excellent tuning shouldnt i be able to get some numbers like the guy with the 800hp 13B TT PP? i wonder how much boost he is running.

Nice wet dream..... keep dream'n cause unless you're the richest 17 yr old on the planet, and have been tuning rotories since your consception in the womb, it ain't happening.

well yea, i never said when i was gonna finish it. this isnt for the near future. as of now i am going for 12A streetport single TO4E i am hopeing for aorund 350hp. the setup i originally gave you is just what im planning for whenever i can afford it. i am working toward finishing the 12A sometime in the next year or 2 and then probly after college do the 13B thing. i would like to get some experience with carbs, 12A, turbo carb setups, before i go into the fuel injection and 13B stuff.
