Thanks for your information.
Yeah I also saw he is offline for a long time, but I just thought I'll use this thread.
I also can imagine that it is not easy to sell something like this on the internet and having to deal with all us car guys XD
Thats why I would handle it like a open source thing, like people in other comunities often do.
So if anyone can help me to get the adapter plate dimentions I'd be happy.
I will make the CAD model and drawing myself and will give it away so anyone can go to their local manufacturer and have it milled.
Yeah I saw the Fisch set but I dont want to spend more money on the adapter than the actual gearbox.
And I dont understand their input shaft bearing spacer, if it really looks like it is in the pictures I dont understand where it should go...

Yeah of course, I would not ask for that, also I'm slowly getting away from making this set by myself.
But I wonder, how is this Fisch adapter put on the CD009 , is there a dividing flange at the housing ?
Because to me it looks like it's one solid casting...

the CD009 bellhousing is physically cut off on many swap kits and then the adapter bellhousing bolts on where the front input shaft seal/bearing plate support is. This is one of many examples you can find in a search:
https://www.ictbillet.com/pdf/551001...STRUCTIONS.pdf
that method differs from the sandwich adapter used on the kit in this thread. According to the Fisch website, their kit also requires removing the front input shaft and modifying the snout end. I figure this is why they must have the front input bearing spacer listed as well, depending on which CD009 transmission is used.
Which also varies from the kit that Careless put together here. However, the Careless kit does require cutting a hole in the side of the CD009 bellhousing for the RX8 starter to clear. So each kit has it’s own unique features to address.

Ah thanks, now I see.
It does not get bolt on the cutting surface. I thought you need to machine it precisely.
And I also see the housing it very thin there, because my first idea was to cut 10cm off my RX7 bellhousing and something alike from the CD009,
machine both surfaces to spec, making the input shaft align with the excentric shaft and weld the housings together.

I'm currently working on something like the collins adapter, but for the T2 bellhousing.
The two bolt patterns of the CD009 front cover and the T2 bellhousing are getting very close to each other, but in my opinion it should still work out.
PS: Does anybody know if the bolt pattern of the FD bellhousing is different? looks alike...

posting up an optional shifter for anyone who might need a shorter distance from bellhousing option; trying to push the engine-transmission further back into the chassis. Which this mounts to the top of tailhousing rather than out the back of it, for a 26” BH-to-shifter C-L dimension. The SerialNine is 28.75” minimum with the optional offset adapter. I like the spherical pivot bearing this one uses too:
