Couple of pics of using one on a 20B and going into a Cosmo.
Raff has done an incredible job, I wish everything custom (that's everything on modifying a Cosmo!) was as well made as this kit.

Looks AMAZING!!!!
I'm looking for input regarding which clutch to purchase for my 20B. Any suggestions?
Anyone have input regarding the different shifter relocation kits available?

Not got that far yet, this is complete strip and rebuild to take a decent amount of ponies. Current projects are BBK and tough rear end.

Hello there. I just joined Rx7club and I spent about 2 hours reading this thread top to bottom. I am very much interested in buying this rotary to JK40c/CD009 adapter kit. However since i just signed up I dont have the ability to PM members yet. I have setup notifications and will be keeping my eyes peeled for the next production run when I will be buying this. Also Careless and everybody else who helped come up with this are awesome and thank you so much for this existing.

just curious what people are experiencing for pricing on these transmissions?
I can actually buy a new one from a dealership for less than what I’m seeing the newer model year 370Z versions sell for used, and the other older, less desirable ones aren’t that much cheaper than the best new price I found. Certainly not worth the price difference of taking a chance buying a used trans out of a crashed vehicle over a brand new, most updated version.

I often find eBay as the best gauge for these types of things. Last time I did a quote request from a bunch of salvage yards, pricing was higher than eBay. You have to keep in mind condition and mileage change the price too.
If you can find a pick and pull you can get it cheaper (e.g. Ford Explorer diff). But good luck finding a 370z.
Just make sure you don't get the wrong transmission if looking at the older ones for a deal. It has to have the internal slave cylinder. The old ones have external with a fork like the Rx7.

seemed like the average was around $1400 with some as high as $2000+ at the salvage yards
new one is currently $1600 for the Memorial Day sale
after reading about how many people have had synchro issues, even on the newer ones, sort of leaning towards a new one at that price
as best I can determine, it costs more rebuilding one to replace the synchros than to buy a new one

so the dealerships are indicating part numbers a bit in contrast to some of the info in this thread, but as best I can tell it’s consistent and seems to be correct:
the JK40C trans is designated for the 350Z (not 370Z), which is now superseded by JK41B as the replacement transmission
Part Number: 320B0-JK41B
Supersession(s): 32010-JK40C; 32010-JK41B; 320B0JK41B
Fits 2007 - 2009 350Z
these are the 370Z replacement transmission part numbers:
Part Number: 320B0-1EA0A
Supersession(s): 32010-1EA0A; 320B01EA0A
Fits 2009-2020 370Z w/o SyncroRev Match
Part Number: 320B0-1EA0B
Supersession(s): 32010-1EA0B; 320B01EA0B
Fits 2009 - 2020 370Z w/ SyncroRev Match

Are you looking for a CD009 or a JK40C?
look on
Car-Part.com if you're in the US it's a junk yard website.
I personally say get either a base model or a non rev match 370z trans. Don't get the 350z trans.
Also which adapter kit do you have?

well maybe consider reading the thread or possibly some of the more recent discussion here, but thanks for looking out for and warning me
I happened to buy this particular kit still nitb from someone on the forum
I’m going to assume you understand the differences between the kit you have and this one, kind regards …
