Free NGK Plugs

Not exactly but close enough......

Did you know that you get a 2 year warranty with your NKG Plugs when bought at Advanced Auto? I talked to the manager today, "it's a no questions asked warranty". I took advantage of that warranty today. This is great news for myself since I need to swap out my plugs every two weeks.

Yeap, I've been doing it for a while now. I don't think a lot of people take advantage of that.

Yep, i'm a manager at an advance auto parts store, just go in and say you want to defective exchange these plugs, and you'll get a new set.

Oh..being a manager i get them for under $5 , not too shabby :-)

I've been doing it for over a year now. Just take them back and get new ones for free. That's why they have a two year replacement warranty. It's NGK's money for all they care.

If you keep showing up to the same store over and over they start catching on to the little scam there. Works good if you put at least a couple months time inbetween returning the plugs.

So wait.. . . . does the 2 year warranty come from the first plugs you buy. . . .or is it on the replacement plugs, then the new replacement plugs. . . . . this could be a little extra lunch money if that were the case

The warranty covers the warrantied plugs too, not just the first ones.

Here I am .............. and thats Cheap Bastard!!!

This must be a special deal with Advanced Auto. I checked at Kragen/Shucks/Checker, and they don't have the same warranty.

It seems as if you're the only one who likes to waste money on plugs.

Thanks for clearing that up Adam -- I was just about to ask that. Maybe PepBoys or AutoZone might have a similar deal?

yep, been doing that for a while. They do however catch on and will limit you. last time I went in, I was asked how many sets of plugs I had recieved from them...I told them that I had no idea. They said "we can only give you so many."

The customer is always right. They last thing they want is a someone making a scene. Some stores will be easier to deal with than others.
