something not right. I just recently saw many vids of gallardo pulling on all kinds cars. It makes more rwhp than the vette and they are highway machines.

You said it yourself, everybody has different values.. so why raise such hypocritical argument.. obviously not everyone buys their car to race and achieve ultimate power.. I don't care what car you drive, how much you spent, and how fast it is.

There are more intelligent and creative ways to spend the least amount of money for the most amount of power. Does that make you stupid?

A hypocrite is someone who's actions contradict their teachings. I think exotics are a poor value and I don't own or want one. I never said people should keep their opinions to themselves.

Your stupidity comment was a very unfounded insult. I apologize if I unknowingly insulted you. Let's keep this discussion civilized.

Firstly, you have no idea what rescources I have spent on either of those cars, which already makes it impossible for you to gauge my ability to maximize value. Secondly, a fast car is not very high on my list of priorities at this point in my life. It's situated far below my house, family, and career, all of which offer me more value than any car ever could.

I never looked at the Ferraris as something built for straightline speed, but instead for turns and overall performance... just look at grand am/Rolex etc... the Vette's ALWAYS pull on the 360's in the straights, and then start losing a little in the corners....

Anyway, anyone that buys a Ferrari for "Value" is sorely mistaken...

but I think it's an unfair and totally wrong assessment for someone to assume that if someone buys a ferrari it's to pick up women or as a substitute for his manhood... people could say the same thing about ANYONE that buys ANY sportscar, including the RX...

There was discussion about this video on a few other forums, and from people who know the guy in the z06.

There were NO HONKS, just line up and go. The guy jumped in nearly all the races, and a lot of the other cars weren't going 100% the entire race.

The gallardo would run away from a z06 at that speed and the diablo/porsche would have gotten ugly. The only car that it is in the same league as is the 360.

^^^ I believe that much more than I do that the "stock" Z06 beat a Gallardo, 911 Turbo, or Diablo....

that dude jocks the hell out of his car when he is shaking the camara in front of the Z06 logos!! its funny to think if there was a seven out there with 350 whp or so, would walk that Z06 and most of those cars(expt. the enzo-F50)
i just love watching an FD be as much as 100whp down on other cars and still walking them in any gear. mazda had it right with the FD i wish more people bought them in the early 90's so they would have extended the FD's production run.
Ferrai's are a i want car the FD is a i have car. if i ever get a chance to run one i think i would have that much more respect for my FD b/c it just ran with a car that's price tag could have bought two houses.

Exotics are almost never bought with performance in mind.

The same ZO6 would run away from the exotic owners with carefully chosen modifications and would still appear visually stock underhood and underbody.
