Agreed I wish I had my camera fo rmy run cuz their tryin to call BS on mine... I need to start carrying my camera....

But still why do so many people ALWAYS call BS when we talk about the C6?! If I had an LS1 powered FD they'd probly still call BS! It's ridiculous.....

Just thought I'd toss this in... It's boostin7's car and his times. Notice the weight of his car...

*Ported-motor/stock twins/pump gas*
-10.98 @ 122.9mph(ET streets)
-11.08 @ 125.3mph ( Nitto drags)

Nice kill. Don't get discouraged by doubters. They weren't there, and they don't know what happened. You won the race. That's all that matters .

Talking Nice FC

Yeah, like an s4 fc gutted without cutting to 2400 pounds without driver and an SAFC1 and throttle body mod and ten pounds of boost putting 240 hp and 210 tq to the wheels took an s2000, srt4, integra typeR, mustang gt, and an evo, and a dropped eg on a fifty shot. nice FD by the way.

All this, and no one threw in my video ?!

Well, here it goes:

<embed src="http://videos.streetfire.net/vidiac.swf" FlashVars="video=54f575ad-c699-4133-bd72-fa89589438ba" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="428" height="352" name="ePlayer" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>

And I work on Z06s so trust me, I KNOW and respect the car. The kid in my video obviously couldn't hook up. But I just want to clarify 2 things:

1) Not every C6 Z06 automatically runs 11.5 @ 125 EVERY TIME
2) It takes 340 rwhp to hit 11s in an FD

DO THE MATH !

^ Good point... but it's not like you have to worry about hooking up or launching properly at 70 mph.

Nice video, btw.

And nice kill, Yellow.

I saw a black new Z06 yesterday. I wanted to race it so bad, but the guy driving it seemed to just be out for a cruise, and I don't go around revving at people. That car was f'in sweet lookin though!

Yellow R1, I'm pretty sure I've seen your car around before. I also believe I have seen this blacked out Z06 in question. I was heading to cupertino one day and I spotted it entering 85 from 280.

These cars (C6 Z06's) are awesome, but they aren't invincible or from another planet or anything. I had the chance to lap with one on a racetrack a few weeks ago, and ran right down the straights with it on low boost (12 psi and reving to 8k), and was a touch quicker in and out of corners. It was bone stock except for 305 and 335 Hoosiers, and I'm making 345 to 350 rwhp at that boost, with 285 Hoosiers all around.

Someone kill this thread. Its as old as Egypt & a waste of time to post kills on this forum. Its too bad really, it used to be fun reading some fellow RX-7 owners occasional runs with quick sports cars. What a shame.
