I was making a right hand turn in traffic after hitting some twisties. I see a really nice red s550 benz, I get behind him thinking that he is just cruizin and he hits it and passes a car in from of him. I follow at about 70mph just, I get enough space to get in the other lane beside him just then with a light coming up it turns red. So here we sit togther with about a 1 mile with knowone in front of us. :twisted: I wasn't real sure if he wanted a light roll or a blast off, green light and dude just hits it. I slip the clutch and the car squats hard and get him my a fender at the top of first. I grap 2nd and see him falling to a car , in 3rd gear at about 100mph looked like a solid 1.5 cars. I slow down and we wave off. All in all it seemed like a fast car for a sedan.

Ah, I can't believe you sold your Supra! I see you are moving up in the world though, with your 996TT though. lol

 

I believe those run a 5 flat 0-60mph. Damn fast for a 4 door luxary/family car.

So I was on the way home from the dollar store when I pulled up next to this tricked out Veyron. This car was the ****. It had dubs with spinners and a hugely awesome wing on the back. He also had a boost controller and turbo timer, and it just screamed aaauuuWWWWWWW! So anyways, I reved my engine a couple time, and it was on. I pushed the 4WD button on my dash to give me that extra traction off the line, and then the light turned green. I was expecting this to be a close race, but it wasn't even close. I left him at the light and my Explorer hit 60mph before his turbos even spooled up. When I slowed down to make the turn towards home, he blew past me on a ricer flyby, but I just shook my head and laughed at how sweet my car was.
