Turbo BMW vs Single FD and V8 FC *VID*

Saw this on bimmerforums and thought i'd share.

Quick Specs on the BMW
S52 with Precision SC61
ARP Headstuds and MLS Headgasket
15psi
Technica Motorsports Tunning
60lb Injectors

The guy who made the video accidentally put s54 instead of s52 in the video so don't be confused lol.

First Vid Runs were Done from about 45-50mph roll

Second Vid runs were done from a 20mph roll

Unfortunately no but these guys are from the New jersey area so perhaps someone local knows about the cars.

FD was definitely running him down up top. Makes me wander how the run would have turned out if the 7 was brake boosting.

I'd give the win to the 7. That s366 is spooling pretty quick but he's spinning hard in 2nd.

Yah he def was loosing traction on the hit. With better tires, he would've walked that Beamer the whole way.

That beamer Does Work! I see the beamer isnt break boosting, Only on 15psi as the video states. It hooks well and gets down quick. Beamer beat the FD fair and square. If there was a better driver in the FD it would have been a good race. That v8 FC looks decent as well. Looks as maybe the FC and Supra would been a good race.

Bullshit...the beamer backed off soon as he saw the FD pulling up next to him so he could keep the "win", but the FD was clearly the faster car and would have won easily if he'd get his **** together and the beamer driver wasn't a puss.

The FD driver actually does pretty well aside from the mishift (everyone does it eventually). If you notice, he's staying practically WOT while spinning (in 2nd I think). Takes some ***** to do that with 500+ hp and a car right next to you.

The bmw is pulling extremely hard from the punch. I'm pretty curious how it's doing that since I know a s366 13B should spool just as hard as any small turbo piston motor. And the s54 (bigger brother) with the same turbo will spool several hundred rpms later than a lightly ported 13B. Anyone know any more details on the bimmer?
