I agree, f-bodies are ugly, big and heavy. But the motor, there's one in my FD now... LSX motor in a car that is about 1,000 pounds less =

 

i cant image the traction issues you have because in my ss im all over the road if i give it too much gas at once.

 

Well I rarely ever see any F-Body with a manual. Most I see are in fact autos. And most professional drag racers use a variation of a manual transmission. Top Fuel doesn't count because they only run through one gear. True that there is always someone out there that is faster and everybody has their day. And I've never heard anyone claim to beat a C6 with a stock RX-7. That would be a hell of a feat.

"Pro Drag Racers" use automatic transmissions, in fact the quickest f-bodies in the country use built a3 transmissions.

 

IMO, I am just into smaller sports cars. I respect f-bodiesand to each his own. A bunch of my friends have them and they cannot wait until my car is done. As far as traction goes... I know... I'll have to deal with that. With my mods I will be putting down 430 to 450 NA at the wheels. Patriot heads, .595 lift cam 232 I 234 E duration, Jessel rockers, high-r lifters, long tubes, LS6 intake....

i forgot to post this. i don't mean to stir **** up, but this is a video of my friends 99 LS1 with only like 4 mods, it will say on the captions. he raced an evo from a dig, the evo has dyno'd at about 314awhp and will break your neck from a launch. anyway here's the video..both guys are really good drivers.

Well... Since you asked. The front-end looks like someone punched a Brittish Bulldog in the face, squished it around, took the nostrils from a horse, kicked it a couple times and then painted it black. Those cars have THE ugliest front-end. The designers thought that it would be really cool to recreate the Batmobile, but uglier, when they designed that vehicle.

But yes, yours is a VERY nice specimen of a VERY ugly vehicle.

A couple months ago there was a small debate regarding 3S's (Stealths and G3T's), which I think are by far the most hideous and "cheap" looking vehicles (second only to a Firebird/Trans Am). Anyways, a Stealth owner posted a picture of HIS car and asked the same question, like; "You call this ugly"?

I seriously puked all over myself.

Regardless of my opinion, I give your car props because I have a feeling it'd annihilate my Rx7. In a straight line at least.

yea im looking to finish off my boltons (if you consider cam/heads) boltons i know some do and dont, but i been thinking about going with a crane cam and maybe some AFR heads. Its going to be a good chunk of $ though so i better make sure i like what i get.

 

I've beaten 3 z28's, I give you all and your cars props, but believe me, I dont doubt that this guys FD beat a camaro. I cant pull on v8's alot, its more like pulling on them a very little bit at a time.

BTW I <3 FC's I think they look awesome, I dunno they just do somethin for me, but I could understand how you think its ugly, I suppose. But I dont particularly like the hood on the WS6, its a bit too agressive!

 

How would you know what the ****** hood on a WS6 looks like? The only thing you see are those big *** tail lights.
