My FD vs Turbo EP3 Civic Si

1st Kill!

So i'm coming home from getting the girlfriend some Chick-fil-a and i notice in the left hand lane in front of me is a civic si with a great big tanabe exhaust. Now i've been looking to spank a ricer for some time now but alas i never got the opportunity. He sped up a little bit going around some traffic circles and i got a little closer than i would to normal slow traffic.

Coming off of the highway on ramp I check and jump, one, two, three lanes to the right as he's coming up just on my left he gets the pschhhh of the BOV when i shift. I stick my foot into it and get ahead and he gets behind me. what's this? he want's to play? He speeds up and i notice that behind me is more than just a ricer with a great big exhaust and an AEM license plate cover. He's got a Fmic! This might be entertaining!

He jumps right again when traffic on the left slows down, gets in front but only temporarily because ingressing traffic always cuts off the right hand lane. One very short (<200ft) stretch of open lane he did make a valiant attempt at a pass. Cocky- but not stupid, had i not expected it he could have bested me there. So behind me he goes again and I take the lead, he passes me when my lane takes a dump on itself and i slow to ~20mph. He moves to exit onto another highway and i cross traffic to follow, he doesn't jump on the exit but i remind him that i'm behind him.

The rather long entrance/exit ramp gives him an opportunity to cut traffic a few hundred feet in front of me but i have a better idea. The vette behind me is moving onto the highway i just got off of, so i have a golden ticket to get into the left hand lane again, shoot through second botch a shift to third but it doesn't matter, i coast up to the car in front of me in time to see his head turn to the left. He's wearing sunglasses; my girlfriend sips her coke. I beat him to every punch, and get every opportunity to pass. But one straight away is ahead and i know that that's where the fun will be.

Traffic is again coming in on the right and i'm in the left hand lane, he moves left right behind me. The jeep cherokee moves right. I speed up a bit. He moves left. I punch the loud pedal, hold 4th to 7,500. He's at my right rear. I shift into 5th, he's still back there. Traffic comes up again. Brakes- my car squats on it's front end. He's stuck again in the right hand lane. I pass traffic and move right as my exit is coming up (again). He moves next to me and gives me a blow off. I smile; my girlfriend sips her coke.

This reminds me that i had some stoplight to stoplight action with a similar black Si a couple weeks ago. I was amazed that it kept up- now perhaps i know the secret.

It was a black ep3 which is the 02-05 si hatch. I think he lives down toward Piney Orchard. The last encounter my car had with the (other?) quick black si (didn't see the driver, or the front bumper) was on 175, and he was headed toward Piney. I'd rather not give too many details as to not incriminate myself.

EP3's weigh a TON! There's nice cars, but a little slow due to the weight.
