lucky cop kill?

i know that most cop kill storys are bs. but here goes. i was on the "99? the freeway next to san jose downtown. i was kinda far from my exit like maybe 4 miles before my exit. the roads was empty for the most part, but on the exits they were free. i got kinda pedal happy and i hit 105 mph. just then i see a cop coming up one of the on ramps. i got scared and slammed on the breaks. cop ends up in front of me " i was almost riding his ***" and instantly the cops lights went up. i thought i was screwed and slowed down thinking what the hell did i do. the cop told me to pull over to the side, i was about to when at the last min i took the exit ramp. then i thought i was even more screwed when i hit a red light. that was the longest 1 min of my life haha.
i went to the parking structure where i was meeting a friend, i traded one of those parking meter tickets with him to prove i wasn't on the freeway at that time.

Very smart. Once on the freeway I was gettin pulled over. I was one lane away from the lane that leads to an offramp. So I just pace myself with the car next to me with the cop behind me. Then I quickly speeded up and passed the car beside me and pulled off the freeway. I 2 did not get caught. You are the second person I have heard with a story similiar to mines. LMAO at the pigs.....

Nice! I have a similar story. Cept mine involved my gf asking me how you do a burnout in a stickshift. So I busted a u-turn on the street I live on and stopped in the middle of the street...this is close to midnight mind you. Get the revs going and slightly drop the clutch and let the tires spin out then launched off and noticed a cop behind me...luckily I had some distance on him so I sped into my parking area and pulled into my parking spot. My gf and I bolted to her car and just sat in her car waiting for the cop. He comes up to the apt parking where I live and gos around til he saw my car and stopped for a second scanning the area and stared straight at us while we are just like oh ****. He just left and went on his way. Man I got so damn lucky. Evading the cops is the shiznizzle.

I got a funny one for you. When I owned my first car, 68 Chevelle w/ semi built 350ci and other goodies. I was merging onto the southbound exit on my way home from work. It was rush hour so not much room to manuever. Anyways as I was merging up the ramp (at a pretty good speed) I noticed a Highway Patrol car coming up on my bumper. Like most people I slow down to the speed limit and pretend to drive like a good citizen. For about a qtr. mile or so, he's riding my bumper like you would'nt beleive. Swerving, slowing down speeding up, and I'm like "What the ****!" just pull me over already. He eventually pulls up along side of me like he's ready to race. Reving his engine, playing with the throttle etc...So I finally look over at him and I see one of my best freinds driving this highway patrol car. (Mind you we were like 17 years old at the time). So like any teenager with a muscle car would do, We find an opening down the road a bit and decide to give it a little run hahaha. We hit 100 mph or so until he had to get off one of the exits to get the car back to his work. He was a car runner for the Ford dealer in Reno. The cop car was being serviced at the time and he got to drive it back from wherever it was being serviced.
The funny part of the story is, once I was done running with him and continued on to home, other people in cars would pull up next to me with a Thumbs Up and like "your a crazy Mother ******!!!" hahaha. They did'nt know any better.

Another time I was racing at our local illegal dragstrip in the commercial district. About halfway in my run I saw the cop lights way behind me. I decided to try and ditch the cop but was'nt so lucky. I was pulled over at gunpoint and almost lost my car that night. Damn those bikes are fast! lol

Oh Yeah, I took a car length on him before we let off. So is that considered a cop KiLL??

Yeah being pulled over at gunpoint is no fun. A buddy of mine was messing around in a construction area with his car and noticed a suburban coming over towards us fast, so he decided to take off.The suburban chased us, and we thought for sure we had him. Then, the blue lights came on. The guy walked up to the window the gun drawn in his face. Suprisingly enough we got off without a ticket.

Let me see if I got this right?

You were close behind a cop. He turned on his lights and signaled for you to pull over. Instead, you 'escaped' up an off ramp? And the cop didn't follow?

No ticket? What'd he say to you? Just wondering since he came up with the gun.

Yeah, it's definately blood pumping.

In my now-gone 82 Continental "conti-back" (not the retarded looking ones from the same era), only performance mods being one loud *** exhaust, I was going down Meridian to home, I got to about the hospital going way too fast, and I see the lights. I cut mine, tap the brakes, cut the wheel, and punch the gas sliding into 14th Ave (by the hospital, don't know the exact address), keeping my foot to the floor we race through 13th Ave, and on the straightaway on 12th I get up to 85, I'm a little bit ahead of him so I take a right onto 21st, then onto Vista. I can still hear him so I take my chances, race for a while more, then pull up to a garage, cut the engine, and put the seat all the way back. I sat there for 20 minutes hoping beyond hope he gave up. He did.

That's the only time I've run where I thought I wouldn't make it, I was in a frikken' granny mobile. But, fog, no lights, residential at 3 AM, it was only a matter of time before either of us screwed up enough to get caught/get away. Just lucky I got away, he would've got me good.

Needless to say, I was following every single law I know on the ride back (same area, DTown puyallup).

Well a few things....Do you have a front plate? Also the rear facing radar only picks up vehicles traveling away from the cruiser. But he might be able to send you a ticket in the mail, only if you state allows. In mass where allowed to send them, I personally never have. I know a few that have....and failing to stop could would definitely be one.
