No one is benchracing here. I have witnessed and experienced all this in real life. What are you speaking from? because it sure as hell ain't first hand experience. Since you decided to make a wise crack at me & tell me who to hang out with, I do hang out with Honda people. We get along VERY WELL with the rx7 guys over here, because they aren't douchebags that think rx7's are the only car to own. Why is it that guys like you HAVE TO be so narrow-minded. OKAY, YOU DRIVE AN RX7, BIG ******* DEAL! Go write a book. Miles per gallon? If you like getting 12mpg in your ride I don't pay for your gas so be my guest.

Wtf does this have to do with anything?

This dead horse has been bleeding for days, either let him be or other INFORMED individuals (yes including other fellow rx7 owners) will tell you the RSX is not bad for what it is, as many of them have proved good points and had not came in hear just to put Hondas down. So before you say "hon-duhs are a pos, ricer, etc bullshit", do some research and try driving around the different manufactures, before you just judge & assume.
I've never heard of vtech killer cams, I have a rotary. But there is a large difference in 6 port induction a vtech, i will not spell it correctly though because honda had to use some gay name instead of VVT or VTC like Toyota or Nissan. 6 port induction increases the total amount of air being drawn into the engine, madvtechyo only changes the timing of the camshaft.

If you are sitting here talking about all kinds of cars that do this and that bringing over dynos and timesheets it is benchracing, i dont know why you had to bring this up in the first place anyway, and if its such a dead horse why are you coming back here to defend yourself.

That has to do with the RX-7 outselling the Civic Si and CRX, because of you posting about the marketability of the engine.

I never said anything about ricers in my post either, but everyone things v-tech is like some sort of god because it can control your camshaft timing and now your lift in some cases. Good for you, it's the same as having a higher lift cam with advanced timing except you're downtuning it for streetability.

The fact is that no one honestly cares about Hondas here, thats why when I am on my VW site I don't talk about RX-7s because they don't care, people were talking to the guy about how there is probably something wrong with his car and you had to try and show off your Honda that no one cares about. Good for you we don't care.

Where on gods green earth in this thread did I post ANY dyno sheet/s? I would get my eyes checked if I were you. Oh, and if you consider actual timeslips as "benchracing"...I don't know what to say...It was a dead horse, we had a good conversation going and made a concensus. You are here to what? Strictly talk ****.

Who said anything about outselling any other car? You're just trying to start up a fight. If anything, look at where the rx8 is standing right now and tell me who buys THEM more than Hondas? Even certified used hondas are selling hotter than them(no hate on the 8).

Okay, I know that this IS an RX7 forums, BUT this is the KILLS SECTION. Why don't we just post rx7's racing rx7s all day, everyday and not speak of any other cars here anymore, because no one cares? If NOBODY CARED, why is there 9 pages of text for you to read here? Why would you even be typing replies to me? You speak solely for yourself as what you think are your opinions alone.

Nobody asked for your preaching about hondas and thats what started it in the first place, that was my closing statement. If it's that hard to understand on the internet i will paint a picture of it and send it to you in the mail.

i think Henry was referring to the type S that ran down here in Sacramento with a stock KA(or whatever they came with) but unfortunately he crashed it on his last run. that is a bad car to use as a comparison since it was built specifically for one purpose, to run the quarter, as it was fully built and prepped for duty at the strip.

Are we still compairing a RWD turbo car to a FWD NA? WHY?! Well if nothing else Honda is on top for NA power IMO. NASA e class 06 SI's (k20 6mt) have been killing it since there intoduction. Here's a funny pic of a k24 engine mod!!!

lol....just because it is germane to this thread, I got to absolutely destroy an RSX-S yesterday whilst getting onto the turnpike. He was in front of me hauling *** thru the on-ramp, I got about 20 yards off his bumper and when he romped on it, evidenced by a huge smoke-fart, I punched it, passed him, took it to 135 and backed off. It was just SO fun! He was trying SO hard.
He stayed well back of me until we got into some traffic, then he passed me without even looking over at me....lol!

I want to see the dyno sheet from a stock FD. I've got one for my FD but I'm at 325 with a bunch of mods. Wouldn't apply to this conversation. I still agree that there's something wrong with dudes car.

An RSX is slow though compared to a well running FD. My buddy has an Integra Type-R with exhaust and intake and it's quick and compared to my Buick it's really fast. However, now that my FD is in great running condition, it's really slow in comparison and the race is over by the top of 3rd gear ( I was pushing 3psi on primary turbo only at the time). It wouldn't even be a race now.

Sorry Honda guys but I can't let this pass.

Haha, you need to let this die. Your friends type r is a b-series. In terms of technology, its inferior like a 12a vs 13b. Let this be or can a mod please lock this damn thread already. Go back and read ALL of the pages if you must know.
