This is being posted in reply to a thread posted about a 90 rx7 and my 99 cobra. a very inaccurate story was told, so i thought i would tell my side. First off i am not a cocky domestic guy our town has a lot of imports and i respect anyone with a nice ride. But here are a few details rx7 boy left out my car is a daily driver 99 cobra with 100,000+ hard miles in complete street trim no drag radials, stock rims, ect. We ran on a 10 degree night which killed any traction to be had. We also rad in a bad spot where you can't run a full 1/4 because of a 3 way stop at the end when he talks of pulling off when i was in 4th it could be because i was braking. I KNOW I KNOW you say YEA RIGHT LIKLEY STORY! but 7 boy left out the part of blowing the intersection smoking a sign, sliding through a feild before coming to a stop wow!!!! O by the way does any 1 have a drivers side fender i think he needs 1. I dont hold it against him i just think it was wrong to post such a screwed up race. i remember how it was to day dream of having the fastest thing around but hey we all can't drive cobra's now can we Logan LOL! But i will b glad 2 put your little 7 in its place whenever you wanna try it again.

i wasent trying to be cocky, and if i sounded like it then i am sorry. If you remember, i didnt even want to race you, and i am sure in better conditions with a longer track that the race might have turned out differently, and in the summer if you want we can run them again some time. My car is also a daily driver and i dont have ANYTHING to drive if it dosent run. im sorry if me posting about our race was wrong of me, but i really didnt think of it as a big deal at the time. i already got a new fender by the way and im sorry no one told me that the road was shorter than the one i suggested or that fact that it ended at a 1/4 mile.

Wow, now when I never meet someone who I don't care about I can know that the story I don't care about on the kills sections of rx7club left out some facts of the story. Also, his car, which I don't care about, really didn't lose under favorable conditions for him.

wrecking your car in a street race and bragging about the race while conveniently forgetting to mention the crash.....

Or

loosing a race to someone stupid enough to race on an unfamiliar road and wrecking his car because of it.

This is just stupid on both of thier parts
