The battle of the beaterz.
This envigorating race was between my $50 '92 Hyundai Elantra (4G61 Mitsubishi Motor) and a friend of mines free Ford Taurus, not sure the year, probably about the same. I kept it in 2nd gear and heard him floor it, it was on, i laid it to the floor, i started pulling him and slammed it into 3rd leaving those light trail things like you see in Star Wars from my taillights 'cuz my Hyundai is so fast, i pulled quite a few car lengths.
Go Hyundai!
Here's a picture of this bad *** whip.
It's got removed hubcaps and a carbon fooler hood, yo. Yeah, the previous owner was a ricer.

Every time I read one of your posts, I can't help but to feel stupider for reading it. What is the point of you even posting on these forums? I'm waiting for another "Look what my mom did now" threads.

Haha, too bad the e-brake doesn't work. I might work on that tomorrow while i'm fixing exhaust leaks, i wouldn't mind them if the flex pipe wasn't split right at the firewall causing horrible fumes to get in the car.

see with me the worse condition the beater is in the better. your beater is one of the better looking ones i've seen. you know fix the exhaust so it wont leak but just chop off the muffler youll gain mad HP and it will sound like a ferrari! also the single windshield wiper mod is a must. go to pepboys or autozone to get some good parts like APC or maybe Brospeed if you can afford it for that korean masterpiece.

For some reason this reminds me of the time a while back I was driving my old Honda to a trial I was a witness at... And some guy in a truck kept trying to race me that morning..... I still wonder why.....

Obviously a joke.
Plus, some of the best times I've had in a car was in a beater car.
You know, the free-$300 specials that you don't care about. I drive those things like they're STOLEN. Redline-shift, don't care if the engine blows, I've got a flatbed and have no reservation about getting them squished at the local yard. They're the best.
It must be a sense of humor thing, I find beater cars hilarious and so much fun it should be illegal (well, what I do in them is, but still).
