Ex Works Group B Rally Car in action

Battling it out at the end of the Group B era Mazda Europe entered a RWD 13B PP RX-7 into the world rally championship.

At least one of these cars is still competing albeit in the hands of a private team.

Enjoy http://www.rally.no/olea/mazdaspecs.htm

If anyone knows of any more photos or links to Group B or any other 1st gen rally cars please post them up here.

Wouldn't it help if you knew what German was? No offence, but that link seemed very much Norwegian to me
Anyway, not that much info on the rally RX7's Mike...
I came across some pics of the (restored) ex-works (Belgian plates, Mazda's rally team was based overhere) RX-7 in magazines. There's an article that's up for sale on Ebay Germany regulary about it (in German). If you want it, I can either copy it for you or help you obtain the article itself. Nobody seems to offer the magazine as such though...
Another source for pics (text is in Japanese) is in some special mags from Japan, available through www.HLJ.com, which is a model shop. They have some books to, as reference material. Do a search on "RX-7".

you don't need to be able to read it to watch the video's or look at the photo's + most of the tech spec is easy to work out as most technical terms span many languages

Thanks Bart, I have few articles, photo's and press releases about the car, but I'm always looking for more info.

Been there done that.

If you want to see good stuff, go to www.havspeed.com and check out the galleries.

His car appears to have a homebrew peripheral port 13B in it. Mike Hurst gave a description of how he made one of these for a grand total of $500 on a certain railly website/forum.
