ANOTHER del sol kill.

White del sol with steelies and a hondaswap.com sticker. He launches, i didn't, bogged out, then caught him at 1/4 throttle... paced him while he was hitting it, then dumped it. Murder.

87 NA, no emissions, custom 2.5 exhaust, ports wired open, intake, no p/s or a/c, lowering springs and a custom rip in the driver seat.

haha. I know. Maybe it was a B18a. Those don't output that much power. like what, 140 or something like that? Plus those things are like 2500 lbs.

B16A is 160hp, nothing great, but enough to put a del Sol into a 15.7, they came stock in the top model del Sol.

Don't toot your horn. There probably was no swap & it was probably a single cam vtec. You know how honda heads are always slaping decals on any empty space of windows.

P.S. I'm a honda head too.

Very true. I was just saying that if he did have a swap what it could be. Pretty much the only thing he coudl be running is a B18A.. if anything. My friend has a cx hatch, so he teaches me alot about them. They are fun to toy around with. We we doing a rebuild as we speek, and we are putting a t3 on it and we are putting a vtec head on it, i cant remember which head exactly... but it will run over my 7 when its done. That is until I do the 6port turbo setup, and port that bitch. LoL.

D'oh! I was reading over that because the B18A is a terrible swap, it's an OBD0 motor going into an OBD1 car. It requires alot of pointless work, a B18B however would be likely, it's 142hp, bolts in easily, harness plugs in, computer plugs in. Still pretty pointless in my opinion unless he started out with the D15 del Sol base model, i had the option to swap a B18A, i had one in a parts car and i chose to rebuild the D16 i had in the car insted of putting that in if that tells you anything.

Yeah. I say if you are going to do a swap, you need to do one that is worthwhile like a gsr swap.

From what I heard is that the Integra's LS bottom end (B18B?!) is better couped with a GSR (B18C) head for nearly any application.

Thats what my friend told me, his car is on the Cybernation website under "Trung".

It's a good combination for boost because it's low compression.

See, whenever people hate on honda's its those types of stories that shut them up. I personally love honda's. I love to work on them and i like to build them. Just because alot of idiots drive them doesn't mean they are bad cars. I want a civic hatch as a dd so i can do a gsr swap and turbo it, but first the 6 port turbo project, and a rebuild on the 7.

Not really, most people are like "So what, it's still a Civic, you ruined what it was good for, gas mileage", too bad they're retarded and i still get 35-40mpg, i just added a bonus.

i just changed my engine back to the stock engine on my civic (about 2½ weeks ago), after that i put 10 dollars in it (4 gallons) and i've been running on that ever since. my gas light BARELY turned on today, and im still good for another 24-30 miles

I got one for you Honda fans...I got 2 challenges from your camp. Once is supposedly a 10 second del sol - single cam vtec B16 turbo w/whatever engine is popular(LS bottom/GSR head??) on dot "street tires". I said I'd run him on a mile and he backed down. But I had a feeling the car wasnt that fast anyways....
The other challenge which will definately happen is from a somewhat of a sleeper Civic. I know the car is quick and the driver is really good. I've heard he's beaten a couple of 12 second cars and I'm next...should i be concerned??? LOL
Seriously how embarrasing would that be, beaten by a all motor civic.

B-series are all dual cam, B16 is an engine, LS bottom end and a GSR head would be a B18A/B with a B18C1 head, not in anyway a B16.
