Im getting kinda pissed at these damn Hondas trying to run me. my car is loud, pretty fast 11 second car, shoots flames.... to me it says, "stay away... I bite." Never-the-less, I get alot of mostly stock civics and integtras trying to run me. Friday, on my way home from work, this red mid 90s integra with wheels, I/H/E/etc, pulls next to me as im in the right lane on I-77. he keeps jumping, blaring his vtech. at this point im itching for a race because i havent had my car out in a month... but not from this guy. i look over and hes holding his hand out like "come on dude, then he points, and can can see him mouth " il smoke you." thats enough to **** me off, so i drop it, wait for him to go, and then proceed to lay 5+ car lengths in about 2 seconds... damn, i just waisted my gas. he comes up next to me, and still is jumping, trying to get me to go. my exit is right there, so i roll down the window, rev to about 8k, blow a huge fireball past his passeger window, and give him a thumbs down. he gets pissed and flicks me off. oh well, at least i taught one more retard-DEE DEE DE- honda boy not to F-with a car thats obviously much much faster.

so, am I an *** for giving this twerp a thumbs down?

No your not an *** at all. I get this all the time, riced out civics with basic mods trying to race me all the time. I usually give these people at least one chance, and i always put them in there place.

The other day i was on the highway and this blue civic with the ugliest looking body kit and wing ever was trying to race me. This kid was an inch off my back bumber and when he got next to me he kept coming in my lane revving at me and driving like a complete moron. I kept looking over and shaking my head at him, i wasnt about to race some dumb kid who is all over the road. I finally got fed up with him and decided to let him have his chance, i let him take off first then hit it and put a few buss lengths on him, and was on my way.

The answer to your question is no your not an *** for giving him a thumbs down, you proved your point and didnt need to race him again.

 

and i agree with everyone here but be careful not to get caught by the cops and guys like that i just ignore them now if they come to close to where they are going to hit my car then we have a problem i had one incident where i was on my way home just crusing in my baby my 7 and some guy in a civic kept looking at me and reving his car im not paying no attention just listing to my music and he kpet doing it so i got mad and looked at him with this look of discuss and shook my head like he dont know what he just done so i took off and left him about three exit back and then slowed down cause i seen a cop so he catches me and trys go again so i looked as if i was going to take off by reving my car and he took off and 5 mins later i passed by him being pulled over as i was getting off (didnt mean to take over the thread) but my point is be careful out there guys you dont want to hurt anyone nor do you want your l's gone for a year but let these guys know that there little civic and honda is no match for the 7

 

Only works at a full stoplight but on several occasions I've just stated "No matter how much **** you bolt on that Honda.........It's still just a Honda"

Most with passengers just laugh I love the cool Ca weather and riding with the windows down

 

yea me too although it seems wiered to be hot in the winter but i love it lately ive been riding in my wifes honda accord and i hate it but i love it i hate it because its not my 7 and i miss my baby cant wait till she is done and i love it because i know its a honda its going to last and not give me any problems

acutally my cousin has a civic i want to race sometime. a 1974 Honda Civic hatchback. very nice car. my first time going over 100MPH was in his Del Sol that he sold. of course there is Shawn and his slew of honda crap that has died(thank god.) a red 88 civic hatchback, a yellow CRX, and a grey Integra. cant believe what he told me one time. that his 88 Civic beat a C5 vette. he is one of those honda guys you want to beat with a bat.

So many Honda haters on here. It's pretty ignorant. Hondas can be very fast cars, and there are many Hondas that are well built, even if many of them aren't.

 

It doesn't matter the car, how fast or how slow, its all about the attitude of the driver. I've met Honda guys who are cool and yes, i hate to say it, I've met fellow 7 owners who are idiots. If the guy was being an *** to begin with, why hold back? You do realize that the story to his buddy's will be "yeah man, i totally smoked this rx7 on the interstate...."

just have your fun, dont feel bad...after all, he'll probably spend more money than u have in ur car to get it to run with ur car stock!!!

disclaimer: yes, i know honda's CAN be fast (guy i know has turbo drag honda...), any car can be fast if u have the money to do it...but there is always someone faster...why do some people have to be idiots and think they have the best car on the road?

theres nothing wrong with hondas in and of themselves. i've seen a few fast ones myself. the problem is theres just a bunch of ******** choosing to pick that as their means of annoyance instead of treating it properly.

im not talking about a built fast honda. in fact i have great respect for a few around here... some i know would hand me my ***. but i dont go around trying to run them when i know they have a much faster car than me.

 

also, i have to say that honda tech guys ussually are pretty cool. i rarely see rice or these type of turds at a honda tech meet.

 

What I am trying to say is to not have a condescending attitude to another car because of its make. It makes you no better than all of those D-bags driving BMW's. I'd rather not people have a bad impression of rx7 drivers.

 

aiy, its not like that. i do not mind hondas... not my choice. im pissed at these turds that think they are going to beat a car thats clearly in the obvious reaml a much faster car. or they just have never been in a fast car and dont have anything else to define fast other than their moms corrola. since they can actually feel some sort of acceleration, their car is fast and they dont understand that my type of acceleration leave your spine imprint on the seat. i get anoyed of these kids that actually think their car could beat me when in actuality i put over 20+ car lengths on them.

same goes for srt4 guys. alot of them are honda converts, and came from that car, thinking it was fast, then the srt4 seems like warp speed. i get alot of them under stage 3's thinking thaey will "pwned" me. thats not as good an example, but similar. and their are alot of really fast srt4s, not denying that. but alot of these guys think them mild/moderate modded srts will beat anything.
