12a NA vs SRT4=

Murder. Yeah I just got plain killed. Didn't even hear the turbo coming (my exhaust toned it out). Maybe if I had a header instead of my stocker I would have stood a chance?! Yeah right! I was driving home when a SRT4 rolled up beside me and pinned it. I didn't a chance, and I knew it, but i didn't really care. It was good fun for me and will be a good story for the other driver to tell. Although I wouldn't be bragging to friends about beating an stock port NA 12a in my SRT4. I do have a holley setup, direct fire ignition (2gcdfis), all emissions removed and straight 2.25" exhaust back to a magnaflow... But I am still running the stock header (not like it would have mattered anyhow!). Just though I would share.

Nice death. I ran one a while back when I had my N/A FC, right after I watched him wax a Mustang GT, and I got him off the line. But once he hit about the middle of his 1st gear, it was over!!!

Heh when I had my 12A FB and I raced people on the freeway, I did it where it was nice and curvy and not straight-shots, going 90-100 along the barrier wall, those pussies would wimp out and slow down. =P

Haha. Man, I know exactly what you're talking about there. I had an 85 GSL before I picked up my 88 base. I rememeber ripping through a turn doing like 120...a few inches from a barrier wall while passing a car that was merging onto the highway...Had my adrenaline going real hard.

PS: NEVER AGAIN did I risk anyone's life like that...

Yeah I preferred to race when I was on my late night trips north/south. Like past midnight. I figured the FB was in pretty crappy condition anyway it wouldn't matter if I crashed cos you know how crash safe they are. =P

But yeah I see people weaving full throttle in and out of heavy traffic and that just pisses me off. Its one thing to risk my own life stupidly for some fun but I won't introduce the possibility of me risking anyone elses.
