First and foremost, I do have to admitt these little buggers are fast, but heres my story, theres this kid at my school, who's daddy bought him a 2004 s2ooo last year so ive been dying to see what his car is made of and we see eachother ALL the time in the city but were always either turning or on opposite sides of the median blah blah. Well today i see him going the oppossite direction of me so i hang a U-turn, and he takes me to this backroad that is the perfect drag strip. Its behind the movie theater and there is no way any cops could be there because everything around it is grass. Well first race is from about 4k in 3rd gear, i start pulling marginally, but then we get neck and neck until i have to shift to 4th a lil early(Damn S4 redline ) so he gets about half a bumper but we shut down because the road is about to end. That was clearly a drivers race, so i tell him to hang a U turn, and this time i start in 2nd at about 3,800 rpm, so i begin to pull once again this time its a diff story i hit 7k, buzz, 3rd keep going hit 7k buzz and this time i'm on top by about a bumper then a damn Bimmer shows up outta no where so we both slowed down. It was a fun day i finally got to unwind my TII out on something. Now im wondering how i'd fair agains the new TL, i know this kid that said he rapes s2ooo in it? I'm not too sure if acura would create a s2ooo raper in the form of a sedan...?

my 88 TII is a slug under 4,500 rpm... but after 5,000+ the tach just dips straight to 8...

how much boost were u running?

I think the fuel pump has put u on the Rich side.. perhaps u should lean her out.. (or raise the boost )

yea my car pulls hard from 4k down thats why i started from their and i don't know how i would turn the boost up without a controller. I have no boost guage either so i don't know exactly what im boosting those are the next mods i plan on getting.

as are tIIs i woulve dropped it to first on that fc but oh well i can always say i never lost to a tII well except a fast 390 hp upgraded turbo one but i beat quite a few bolt on ones as well as as bolt on dsm's and even and sr20 240 s13 with bolt ons and they all said "i dunno what happened i just smoked an a s2000 the other day" lol thats the best i so laugh you just got to know how to drive the sucker but oh well dont have one anymore but i do miss it! Good kill

yeah there are a few dipping in the 500s with there slow honda s2000s go to s2ki and check em if ya think im lying ! i respect all cars wish we all did but there are always a few losers out there funny you are the ones who i use to stomp on all the time!lol

I raced a 40 year old guy in his. He just dropped a few grand into some exhaust and intake BS and I was just out on a 4 lane road divided road and when I got beside him he just took off. I was not planning on racing him but I down shifted after he had already started to race. So it took me about 2 seconds to catch him and pass him by 4 car lengths until I shut it down at about 110. third gear caught him and left him with ease. I pulled over at a gas station up the road to get some beer and he pulled in all pissed off saying some tuner shop in ellicot city sold him all these performance parts so he would have 250rwhp and would walk away from most cars on the road. I just laughed and told him that I was running a t2 swap/tmic/stock 89 turbo at 10lbs. and he should take the stuff back and get forced induction.

The new TL with the 4 wheel drive is pretty fast(270hp, 3500lb, 6 speed), but for some reason they think they can beat a FD....

Basic bolt-ons are useless on s2k's until you get some forced induction to ram that air through. After that, the sky is the limit on how much power you want. After spending all the cash on the bolt-ons, it comes out to be just under the same price as a used Comptech Supercharger. ($300 intake + $1000 headers + $1000 exhaust).

the first S2k kill was in my HEAVY PIG TII with boost controller at 12 psi, fuel controller, Intake and a turbo back.....the second kill was in my GTUs Turbo (gutted) lol........

S2000's look good, they handle well, get good gas mileage, high redline..... did i mention they look good? Yeah i have yet to lose to an S2000, they just dont have enough torque. I have an SR20det 240sx and i killed one with i/h/e and a safc on my low boost setting of 11psi. I am wanting to run a local one with a comptech supercharger, but i have a feeling the result will be the same if i run him on 19psi.

i doubt that i ran a guy in an 240 with from what i saw was a exhaust and fmic and he stayed even with me til about 115 when i crept away by about half a car it was very nice and definatly quick it was an s14, i also raced an s13 with an sr and it was childs play very weak he said he couldnt get traction but oh well! My buddy hada supercharged s2k and it was very quick on the freeway he murdered a 97 or so cobra with bolt ons and a 75 shot bad, I bought my exhaust for 580 shipped(invidia) and intake was 120 shipped (4Ig) and act six puck was 360 shipped and was able to own lots of cars but oh welll sometimes its the driver im sure all of your tIIs are way faster, !lol(right) the tIIs i raced all had turbo back exhausts and unfortunatly all lost minus one very fast one he was upgraded turbo very clean to great car indeed, All in all you win some you lose some but like i said i raced quite a few and never lost so i guess i was lucky,its all about knowing your car i think causei raced this guy in a 350z in my friends s2k and beat him from a roll by about a car then wed race off line and i just couldnt get him i dont know why my car was getting the clutch, so i raced him again in my car and murdered him off line by at least 2-3 or so cars off line i know my clutch was a big part of it but man i felt more comfortable in my own s2k man i loved the six puck! very harsh driving in traffic and i now have the hugest left leg ever!oh well i loved it and of course i beat every s2k around me so not that i dont buy it cause there arent very many good drivers, plus i on to better things can you say t78!coming soon!

yeah sr20det 240s arent even that impressive, i mean the freakin motors+tranny is like 1900$ from osaka. be different and put a rb26 in there.i think the fastest one ive seen run in the 1/8th was 9.73 or so on 11lbs of boost...
