It has happened in Philly as well....calmed the racing way down from a few years ago. A minivan with a full family inside...dead...175 belongs on a track, doesnt cost **** to get on Atco anymore, wonder if thats the same in other places...
Good luck

it's a nitrous setup. and not stock anymore. i don't have dyno numbers because i don't worry about power, i worry about track times. which i won't post my new times. but like i had said before it went 11.7 with an old setup. which was bone stock with a kit. it's nothing spectacular but enough to run with some decent cars.

also, i am willing to setup races outside my area because i travel alot. that allows me to run people. not because i am young. but if i am going to talk trash about racing i will back it up. thats just the way i look at it. i'm hardly a troll, i belong to over 20 boards that i post on semi regularly or browse.

and montego to answer your edited question and somewhat stalkerish attitude. it is an auto.

LOL @ a race to 175mph.

You people are nuts.

Cant believe cops havent tried to put any fines. I dont know the laws about this, maybe they have to catch you doing the act as its happening but putting it on video, better hope they dont see this and do something.

I mean your license plate is on this forum, they CAN track you down. Just a thought.

Good race, pretty dumb to exceed a race that near the max speed but whatever, long as you had fun and no one was hurt or caught, that all that matters.

In that particular area, we usually stop traffic in order to make runs. We're talking 8 lane HWY. Stopping traffic is a must with the time it takes to spray down VHT and burnout.

Most sane people don't race to 175 MPH, though. That's unsafe.

Not to take abyones side here but can someone please explain the physics behind an Fbody weighing over 3000 lbs with 400-500 rwhp pulling 9s and 10s?? I'm just not getting it?!
For comparison sake;
C6 ZO6: 440 whp --> 11.8 @125
Viper SRT10: 450 whp --> 12.1 @120
Bugatti Veyron: 1000 bhp --> 10.8 @ 140
Saleen S7 TT: 750 bhp --> 10.9 @140
Mosler MT900S: 600 bhp --> 11.0 @135

All of the above cars have lb/hp way better than the Fbody that everyones talking about so it just doesn't make any sense to me!?

The link is on page 4.

Oh and this video is COMPLETELY FAKE. I computer generated it, I swears!
Also, there is no traffic. Those other cars were "spectators."

a c6 z06 has already gone low 11's at mid to high 120's and there is one on video running a 10.8..... thats a bone stock car with 450ish hp with good tires.

..and it weighs 3150 lbs. So the lb/hp ratio is way better than the Fbody. So back to my question, is the Fbody defying the laws of physics or what?!

no they aren't. and nobody said 9's. low 10's-high 10's are very easy with an fbody and 500-580hp. plenty of guys do it on ls1tech with cam only cars weighing OVER 3k

step outside that little 3 wall box of yours and realize there is more to running a 10 second pass than the weight of the car and its hp.
