CF pre-preg suppliers

Kind of an off question, but does anyone know of a reasonable CF pre-preg supplier who doesn't require very large orders? Honeycomb supplier as well?

i got none for each, for taht stuff you gotta buy in super huge *** orders cuz they come frozen, once they thaw, they harden haha

as for honeycomb, look up nomex type, i always wanted to try that but could never find one for a resonable price

also, you know that prepreg aint gonna look too nice right, most of the structural stuff is unidirectional and not woven for strenght.

good luck

btw, what you trying to make

mcmaster has aluminum honeycomb not sure about nomex. fibreglast.com has nomex but it aint cheap.

i dont think prepreg is what you want. you have to keep it frozen and you usually put it in autoclave to cure.

Autoclave is for curing speed, large pieces, higher curing temps, and the ability to increase the pressure higher than 1 atm. Not even required for my purposes, even if using pre-preg. Anyways thanks for the info. guys, I'm probably just going to go with standard sheets instead.

skunks, some custom stuff. I'll show you when I'm done. :P

Hey Aaron,

I'd just like to bring my ideas to fruition first without someone else (not even you guys at all) deciding to pre-empt my attempts, that's all. . It's not interior or exterior body related at all.

I edited this thread guys. No warnings to anyone as it seems everyone voluntarily calmed down, but please try to stay peaceful. I'll leave the thread open unless it goes downhill again.
