pics - FC model cars, suppliers, etc.. - GOOD INFO!!

As you know several of us have been collecting model FC cars.

I've compiled a picture of what's out there below.

Right now there's 4 model kits (build it yourself) on ebay. There's also 3 different eletrical RC cars that have EXCELLENT quality slightly below "diecast" quality.

Here's a supplier of the MINIZ RC cars:

Cheap shells - great for display:
http://mini-zone.dinball.com/catalog...cPath=30_21_68

Actual RC car kit - eletrical motor, gears, etc..
http://mini-zone.dinball.com/catalog...cPath=30_21_64

THE ULTIMATE is the real working mini ROTARY ENGINE gas powered RC cars, but I haven't found a new supplier yet. I want one BAD though.

There's also a paper Turbo II you can download & assemble yourself

here's the mini z pic. They come in red, silver, and InitialD white.

And here's 3/4 of what's out there right now, but I haven't found a supplier of these though

1/10 RC all the way!

The best is still the 1/10 scale gas or electric RC. Can't beat a 17inch FC model that will go 50mph. You can even get the rotary engine for it.

OK danny from http://mini-zone.dinball.com emailed me these pictures. I'm not sure if they're the rotary engine though (waiting on his reply).

So do they actually have a rotary engine R/C car? Or is that custom? I have a nitro car with a little two stroke engine like what vaughnc posted, and its cool as ****. Revs to about 30,000 rpm and sounds like it is going to explode at full throttle.

Thats the O.S rotary engine specifically made for R/C airplanes. You can purchase them on a any hobby store that sells OS engines. He had to modify the chassis of the car among other things.

Dang, too bad the dang thing cost $300 for a single motor! Imagine buying two and doing some fab work to create a two rotor beast! That thing would flat out fly!

Yeah, thats a Airplane engine, notice in the magazine scans how he put a fan blade on the driveshaft to cool down the housing because its not in an airplane which obviously has great aircooling.
I'm sure there's more custom parts than that. I dunno about the 3 speed, I've seen 2 speeds but anyone know where he got that from?

me and a friend were looking for a small rotary motor that made good power, but ended up not finding much. We ended up with a 15 horsepower motor that is super small and weighs like 10 lbs maybe?
