Where Does Power FC get boost readings from?

Im wondering where the Power FC gets its boost readings from. I have the boost solenoids bypassed and im getting boost readings on the Commander, but the boost readings on my RE Amemimya gauge is different from the commander. Anybody know? Thanks

MAP sensor. I think you need to read and learn about modern turbo charged and fuel injected systems (especially the FD).

It has been a know fact since 1999 the the PFC boost readings are lower than reality. And this has been posted here too many times. Info has also been recently posted on how to correct this error.

i guess i missed that somewhere. thanks for the info
What does not knowing about PFC boost readings have to do with the need to learn about modern turbo charged and fuel injected systems anyways? you didnt have to insult me by saying that, you know nothing about me or what i do.

Because if you knew the basics of how a modern car is run (modern meaning electronic fuel injection), you wouldn't have had to ask where the PFC reads boost from. The PFC reads from the MAP sensor, same as the stock ecu....it's one of the two main determinants in how much fuel to inject (the other being rpm).

I did not read Chuck's post as insulting. Chuck is not a coddler, but he gave you advice he really thought you should follow, he wasn't just busting your *****.

I wasnt sure if it was the MAP sensor or something else so maybe it could have been worded better. I took it as an insult because it seemed like he was saying i was totally clueless about turbo cars and fuel injection systems. Ive been in this field for awhile and i have a decent amount of ASE's but im still learning on the FD.I dont want to make this a big deal but yea my bad for not researching enough on the FD and the PFC.

You didn't know it used the MAP sensor to measure boost and you felt insulted by what Chuck said, ROFL. Just in case you are a Mazda mechanic, I would suggest not telling anyone here.
