off values??? need help
i posted sometime ago that my commander dispalying some off values but back then i had fuel leak problem. now, the fuel leak is gone (changed pulsation damper for the second time .. err...), some values are still in the mist.
first off, at idle, my Injector Duty sees only 3.2%. and at WOT, it never goes above 55%. sounds strange? but it seems running rich both at idle and at WOT. O2 sensor at WOT reads around 0.95~0.97v.
second, boost is off as well as vaccume. my Blitz boost gauge shows about 380mmHg at idle where PFC shows 470mmHg at idle. As far as boost goes, gauge shows im getting 0.80kg (12-8-10psi pattern), but PFC reads that im getting only 0.65kg (peak hold). ill get good manual gauge from local shop and check which one is telling the truth.
last.. speedo... when i cruse at 40 mph, commander says im going at 55km/h (should be about 64km/h). it always reads somewhat lower than what my speedo meter reads.
the wires were cut, and im sure i cut the right ones (checked a couple of times before i cut). it has a base map. and after the fuel leak is fixed, i reset (initialize) the PFC because it was still showing the wrong values right after the fuel is fixed.
now now... can anyone think of anything? maybe there is something wrong w/ my PFC (bought a brand new)? any input is greatly appreciated.

and,,,, where can i see/download this map? theres no link in the map/instruction section.
thanks for your input, and please be a little more specific.

Just double-checking your testing method...
So, with peak/hold monitor mode on the inj duty cycle, you can rev to 8000 RPM under full boost at WOT in 3rd gear (or higher) and the resulting peak is only 55%? Just WOT won't get you to your peak duty cycle. You need to be under full boost and high revs, too. High gear is used to make sure you get full boost.
I have heard of the MAP sensor reading being different from what people see on a boost gauge. This is nothing to be alarmed about, and I am sure a number of things are at work. MAP sensor and boost gauge are connected to different spots on the manifold. Boost gauges are often inaccurate. PFC might adjust for altitude, but boost gauge does not.
Your idle inj duty cycle seems normal.
I am not sure about the speedo one. I assume both devices are using the same sensor. Does anyone know if that is correct?

thanks again Max.
since my car is being repainted as i speak, i wont be able to check the couple of things you mentioned until next weekend.
for additional info, i did WOT under full-boost to about 7000~7200rpm. most of time results were around 55% but sometime it hit 65~70%.
here is a couple of things im planning to do as soon as i get my car back from the body shop.
-get a manual vaccume gauge from couple of different shops to see which one's telling the truth.
-replace my MAP sensor with one from other 7 to see if it makes any difference.
-worst case, ill try to install my PFC in another 7 to see if there is anything wrong with PFC itself or its just my car.
