what psi does the stock map support???

okay everyone I have a question. I just recently intalled the home depot valves to control boost and I was wondering what psi I should have it tuned for with the base map. I have a intake, dp, cb and the pfc. Thanks for any advice and input.

All ECUs and their maps support boost from vacuum up to a maximum boost of at leaste 14PSI. Maps are not set for only 1 boost level.

The boost limiting factors for a map if set up correctly for your mods are: your fuel system, ignition system, and turbos. Can they provide the fuel, spark, and boost for the level you have chosen?

For your almost stock system, I would not go above 12PSI until you verify injector duty cycle and AFRs.

thanks for the reply...according to my last dyno, my AFR is 11.5-11.7 WOT. And I think the highest duty cycle that I've seen is 70%. My boost level on the pfc is showing .77 bar, can I turn my boost up a little???

I would not trust the PFC for what boost you are running. Use a good boost gauge as the PFC is unreliable when it comes to displaying boost. I would not go above 13 PSI boost with your mods. OK for cool weather. When it gets hot, the stock IC is too small. That means reduce boost to 12 or add more fuel to cool the intake charge.

You need a bigger IC to safely run high boost else lower the AFR to low 11s.

Other considerations aside, it is my understanding that the stock MAP sensor can read up to 17.2 psi.
