CA Lowering Idle warmup revs

Hi

So the PFC will hold revs above 1K until the car is fairly warm ~80C, then hold at around 700-800 rpm.

Ive adjusted some values to try and lower this but to no avail so i put them back to normal settings.

Is there a way to adjust so that the car will idle under 1K at a lower water temp? say 70C?

When i drive around, my temps are around 65C freeway and in the city are around 75C so idle is always a little high for my taste.

Rarely does it ever go past 80C in which case, im sitting in traffic.

Thanks

That is a function of the thermowax, it is a mechanical device controlled by coolant flowing through it. It is not something the PFC controls

Sounds like you have the wrong thermostat installed

Im having the same issue. Car will idle fine at 1K, but once I start to lower the rpm to around 700-800 she would stay on but then dies out. Any reason why she is doing this, I never had this issue and it is getting to me.
