I'm an RB25DET S13 owner, and looking to do some of my own engine tuning
This FC Tune seems like a beautiful option, but I was wondering when the FC Tune box will be available ?

 

This might sound stupid but, do you need a dataloggit for this to work or can I just get a cable and hook it up to my laptop from my pfc and run fc-tune?

 

U need an interface box...aka Datalogit or one day the FCTune box!

Just had a driftday in which my girlfriend was driving, and I was busy mapping the power-fc. OMFG how bad is that with only the handcontroller !!!
Please finish the product and sell me an interface !!!

 

So Ive looked through about 30 of the 50 some pages. Starting off with nothing which version would be the best to download? Is there any scan for the MRS yet?

You need an interface to the PFC. Either Datalogit or the APEXi cable are available now. You don't need the software, but you'll get it anyway if you buy the interface. Fasthatch is supposedly working on an interface himself too, I think. In any case, the interface is more complicated than "just a cable."

 

Does Apexi Have a connector cable too? Can you get it separately?

 

Used to be available only to APEXi dealers. Now I have heard you can get it even if you're not. See here for example:

I had several (few) emails with the author of FCTune who is actually located in germany where I live, but I didn't receive any more emails after a while from him.

I even wanted to help him selling those items to other ppl, however there seems to be no interface box ready at the moment. So I just bought a FC-Datalogit to map my FD.

Hope he gets done the software soon, looks far more better than FC-Edit ;-)

hey whats really good fast hatch?? no word or updates from you in months!! just dont seem right to leave everyone hanging like that!! but we can understand if some thing bad has came up!!! but still in all just say something !! we been on stand by for years now !! put some news or update out!!! i got the rx7 clue fourm send emails that they want me to come back!! im not around cuz your not around!!

 

Sorry, I didn't had a lot of time lately, I've been transferd to a different team and also had to do some tests (M.Sc.). So FC Tune has come off badly in the last weeks. Next test is in January, so I do have some time now again. Hopefully I can get a new version out till the end of the year.

i am new to this forum and to rx7's in general. i did have an rx3 back in the day. but i stem from the muscle club. my weakness is that i get bored easily. at 43yo, it seems that i have done a lot. after reading this thread on thanksgiving "thanx to my wife for leaving me alone and taking care of the dinner" it seems that i have not. i never want to be one that writes code, but sure do want to take atvantage of it. this new tuning craze makes me feel young again. and if allows me to do louder and smokier brodies (dougnuts for you young croud) im in.
