Power FC 0.0% injector duty cycles?

0.0% injector duty cycles?

okay when im driving around and im coming up to a red light or a stop sign i let of the gas while in gear the pfc reads 0.0% inj duty and my wideband goes out of range. it reads this - - -

is this normal.

is this bad though..wouldnt it be runnig really lean......but in neutral and off the gas it reads 5.0%...

thats y i get confused.

it cuts the fuel for a second so i wont backfire, its no problem.

but if im slowing down using engine braking its more then a second because it reads 0.0% until i give it gas or put it in neutral.

Its just not dumping anymore fuel in; should still be a minimal amount fuel in the engine after you take your foot off.

You gotta be kidding ...

The PFC cuts fuel with zero throttle input until the rpms drop below about 1500 rpm, this can be changed with the datalogit. You don't need fuel when engine braking, think about it.

And it's not going to explode your motor because their is zero, ziltch, nada, load on the motor. The wheels are actually turning the motor.

It will read 0.0% until you get below the RPM settings on the PFC that tells it to add fuel back, so in reality if you found a big enough hill it would read 0.0% forever but still be running.
