There are some funny things going on at Pineapple. Its between Rob, and Blake. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure attorneys and the courts will be involved, and nothing pretty will come of this. The pineappleracing web page isn't currently under Robs control, so basically the Pineappleracing.com, is not the web page he endorses. I know that Rob doesn't like to air dirty laundry for public display, but he wanted me to pass the web page info along. From what I understand, his attorney is wrighting a statement and Rob will publish it as soon as he can. Thanks for understanding. CJ

So how is this affecting engine/install jobs that have already been started and partially paid for?

I don't think this is effecting motors/install stuff.

They however are in the process of moving this week....so If you have questions feel free to call Rob.

I myself just dropped off my FD engine for a rebuild, and I'm not worried about it. CJ

If you need to get in touch with Rob, you still can at pineappleracing@earthlink.com He's still taking orders just like normal, just send him there. But for the next couple weeks they are in the process of moving so there may a small delay.

Does anyone know where Rob is moving to? I'd like for him to build and install an engine for me also.

Do you folks think that this legal issue is going to affect the engine work? I would think that this would be a pretty big distraction. I'm just trying to gauge how long it's going to take to get my car running again.

Thanks in advance for any info.

This won't effect motor quality what so ever. If I had a question about it, I would'nt have taken my motor to Rob. However, I don't know if he's going to continue to do installs. Maybe Paul can shed some light onto that.

If you're on a tight time schedule, you'll want to contact him way ahead of time. 6 weeks was the last I heard for my engine. I don't mind waiting because I know that quality takes time. CJ

It is being worked on. Right now there is a problem with the host and that will be resolved tomorrow.

IF the website is still there, it will be back up shortly. If not, it will take another week. Sorry for the down time.

Pineapple just MOVED. So PLEASE be patient and wait a few days to call.

What annoucement? Blake is (was?) the most intelligent and knowledgable rotorhead I've come across. I really hope this not correct.

It is odd to say but I feel like I've lost a personal friend even though I knew Blake from posts and a couple of times he replied to questions of mine. RIP
