Porting Templates

Porting Templates
Anyone interested in intake porting templates? I just got the first test sample back from CNC laser cutting and it looks fantastic. We will be doing them in stainless steel and the port shapes will be pre-cut; not just scribed, like other porting templates.
The test piece is for a 13B-REW, but I already did streetport template drawings for 13B-T and 13B-6PI, so we can get them made quickly. Soon, I will also make some exhaust porting templates.
Price for the streetport intake templates will probably be about $35. The exhaust porting templates will be more like $20.

I would really like a set of 13B-6PI (GSL-SE). It would be awesome to have them pre-cut. How long do you think the turn around would be for getting some of these made?
PS: Great job on the engine building thread. Lots of very good info. I will be putting much of that info to good use in a couple weeks.

I will be finishing up the CAD files on these this week and should have them laser-cut in a week or two. I have been really busy lately, so there's been no time to get it going earlier.

Hi Blake and all the others,
do you have also some of these templates for 12A engines.
I planned to rebuild a 12A NA engine for the next racing season.
I think about big exhaust ports and eventually bridge ported intake.

I've been really busy working on an Engine Rebuilding Parts Selection Guide and getting ready to go to both Sevenstock and the SEMA Show next week. I still have not sent the finalized CAD drawings to the CNC Laser Cutting place. Sorry.
Please note: I did a little house cleaning in this thread to get rid of the funny but irrelevant references to a fictional "Wu Port". You can imagine the confusion that could cause someone who is not very familiar with rotary engines! Sorry, but I want to keep threads like this on-topic and uncluttered. Thank you.
