swap KA24de(t)

Too many posts to read but my friend owns KA-T.org and did make 633rwhp. This was done on a stock block, pistons, rods, minor ported heads, and a GroundZero Motorsports turbo kit. The turbo he's running is a GT35R on 30+psi. the engine isn't anything radical so there's much for improvment if needed. Ka motors can be build strong and make lots of power. Just not as much parts available.

And what about the Subaru 2.5 twin turbo engine? A friend has one in his VW Bug from the sixties. Currently he has no boost available due to not having the vac hose scheme but thr front is already lifting of the ground as it is (+-200hp). I was thinking...when it fits a Bug, why not an RX7

Im going ford 2.3 for cheapness and turboford having know-how and the ability to ghetto rig **** and make it WORK, personally.
KA24 seems to have potential, but I dont exactly know all the mechanics of it would go. Im not in the KA24 communiity, but something with that displacement seems to be good for a nice turbo in a light car.
Anyway, what are the cam and head options here? 2.3 has cam options and esslinger heads that kick MUCHO ***... and what kind of prices are we talking?

prices? for the motor? its dirt cheap, some people will just give you the KA..
i had a Turbocharged KA and i loved it, you can purchase a manifold which places the turbo in a STOCK sr position and by that you dont need to custom fab anything, which makes boosting it easier and cheaper that and you can use stock parts from an SR.
if that isnt the question, then whooops!
but i have to agree, i dont know how much trouble it would be to run one of these in an RX7, its probably not worth the hassel, assuming it is one.
