hey

this was my 2009-2010 winter project ive been working on, shes not done yet but i wanted to share and see what u guys thought, im having a small issue when i hit boost, thats why my rpms are all over the place... also, ive spoken to a couple of people on here and everyone is always asking me to post pics and what not......hope you like my hard work and dedication, and please take note, i did this all on my own, from pulling the motor out, to building it piece by piece, to putting in the 2jz, i did it all alone, i dont have friends i can trust and who wont steal from me, i spent countless hours, LATE hours, blood, sweat and tears for ******* car lol and in the end...i did it for me, i hope to it becomes a crowd pleaser.... enjoy

What subframe are you using? Are you running a bumpsteer correction kit? It's not a conversion I particularly enjoy, but it looks good and built not bought is always awesome. Hope you get your boost straight. It'll be some kind of monster when it's all sorted out.

Thumbs up,
Barban.

Looks like the tech2 kit and the tech2 intercooler kit also.

Very nice build...doing it all yourself is always the best way, I wouldn't have it any other way

Cool spot to put the fuse boxes, i havnt seen anyone move them there yet. The vertical doors are horrible, but it looks like a lot of hard work went into the car. Congrats on getting it running, gl working out the issues.

Car looks good man. I am currently finishing my 1jz swap. Bought is as bare chassis though.
I also got my kit from Tech2. I will never buy from them again. Their customer service is a joke.
Also CX racing intercooler kit

Here is my ****. Sorry for the crappy phone video. I have made alot more progress since the video.

I am Union. It would great to see yours too. We might have the only JZ power Rx7's in Jersey

I had some issues. The kit went in pretty good. The wiring was a little pain in the ***, but thats because I had to call Tech2 20,000 times to send me wiring schematics.
I am gonna try and use the stock hood. I have it all cut up already. I just have to make the hood scoop for it. I am just trying no to make it look muscle though.

Yeah I got mine done by them. But it happened to be when they just fired Sean. I took them 4 months to send it to me without any instructions. It was a battle with them after that.
I have to get my car completely aligned, since I swapped everything from another chassis. I drove it on my driveway for a bit. It feels nice. I might have to get a bushing kit later on.
Right now I have buy a Tig welder to finish the hood. I am also slowly gathering stock interior parts that I am missing.
I also need to do the body. Paint is shot. I need to get both rear wheel wells fixed. The dude I bought the shell from decided to put wide flares on and cut some of the wheel well arc .
Did you get your tach working? I got mine working but its not that accurate and responsive. I might need a diff brace but not right now.

Great build man!

& yes, those Defi gauges will get ya... I spent $680 on my 3.... ouchh! But I think that was with a Tri-point pod too.... still pricey though.

www.thmotorsports.com was the cheapest I could find them. Great service too.

oh and the shifter im using the same trans setup from tech 2 i was wondering if that is the height for the shifter or did you make it taller somehow and what hood are you going with for the setup thanks again...
